We had a lovely time at Bacary's. They were all well prepared. Any question has been answered by Ibou, who takes care of the house on site. You don't even have to have any worries. We're welcome, if you want. It*is a well-located square, close to the beach. There are opportunities for taxis, jakarta for needs. Even if you want to take excursions, Ibou gives good advice. Good Vibes Eco Lodge is a truly magical place. The location is amazing- it's quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. You are surrounded by beautiful nature, lush garden, birds, fruit trees, baobabs, and the nearby river. The lodge is beautiful. We felt extremely comfortable and cosy, it had everything we needed. Most importantly, Ami and her family are the best and kindest hosts we have met during our travels. They made us feel like a part of the family. Ami's food is delicious - probably the best we tried in the Gambia, and her place has become the highlight of our trip. We only wish we had booked a longer stay (5 days was not enough - I can guarantee you will want to extend your stay once you are there). We left feeling like we made some truly beautiful friends and I hope we will have the chance to come back one day.

Adi's team and assistants were very nice and ready to help even when Adi is not available. The best part is the quiet of the environment.

The settings here really accommodated my family's needs. We had the space to see family and friends and outside space was a bonus for my visiting grands. The host was gracious and flexible.

Dennis is a really kind person. Always listening to what we need and helping for everything if needed. I really recommend, his place is very nice and we feel like home. I just kept on extending my stay since I was so comfortable there. 10min to Senegambia so very well located. I will be back again for sure. Thanks for everything.

Spent an amazing 3 weeks at Cuckoo’s Nest Apartment spotlessly clean, beautiful decorated with modern appliances giving it a real home from home feel More than ample up to date utensils for preparing and making your own meal. Great location to buy freshly caught fish and an array of fresh food stuff just a short stroll away at Tanji fishing village. There’s also a wonderful Bar and Restaurant across the road from the fishing village serving a good selection of food at great prices. Grounds in the apartment are kept immaculately clean by the House Manager Lamin, who works tirelessly to keep the compound clean and tidy. Lamin is a lovely young man with impeccable manners who’s always at hand if you need help. Great, quiet outdoor area for lazy days, beautifully decorated shaded area for alfresco dining and chilling by the pool. Would highly recommend anyone looking to book the Cuckoo’s Nest not to hesitate, can assure you won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to my next visit.

Highly recommended place! Situated far enough out in the bush to have Your peace and quiet, but at the same time close enough to the village and the beach to get there within 15 to 20min walking distance. The room with the ensuite bathroom was just fabulous. The cleanliness extraordinary since the room was cleaned every day. Malika's kitchen was free to use at leisure and one always was welcome to have a chat or even share meals at her table - the real African 'teranga'! The solar powered electricity and the fully equipped European toilet added to the comfort out in the bush. Although one can enjoy his privacy, the place is at the same time ideal for groups and there is enough space. It even was possible to take some private Kora lessons there and apparently soon Yoga retreats will be taking place there.

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at this villa and we really cannot recommend it enough, from the lovely location in a very peaceful street to the lovely villa with all you need for a self catering stay it was flawless, there’s a local shop steps away and the beach is very close too, but the real jewel in this villas crown is Lamin, nothing is ever any trouble and he is literally the most genuine person be around, we all love him and hope to see him again very soon. Thank you Tony and Eileen for sharing your place with us, it was a joy 🤩
