I love this place. Great location, very cozy, a home away from home.

The property is highly recommended. Freudenstadt (the nearest town) is easily accessible on foot or by bus. Due to the tourist tax, it is definitely worth using the public transport. (Stop right by the house). Freudenstadt offers great restaurants, a huge market square, some museums and all sorts of shops for strolling. For all nature lovers, you can either start immediately from the accommodation or explore the All Saints Waterfalls, for example, by car. The apartment is well furnished with everything you need. Even a wood-burning stove for the cold days is available. Sara and Tassilo are very nice hosts and definitely worth a (or more) visit! For us, a very clear recommendation :)

Lovely stay at Nia’s apartment. Apartment was spacious and clean. Beds were comfy. Nia was very approachable and replied quickly.

We had a great time in the old caretaker's house. The apartment is beautiful and has fantastic lake views. The house is located directly on the forest in the middle of nature. As soon as you step out of the house, you come directly to a beautiful hiking trail. We got more tips for hikes and excursions from our very likeable hosts. The apartment is very well equipped, so that everything from game night to baking cookies is wonderfully possible. We will definitely come back!

Review of our Airbnb stay We spent 1.5 months at this place, and everything was really great! The apartment was very warm, extremely clean and as cozy as home. The hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful. During our stay, they even gave us several gifts, which was really surprising and very pleasant. The house is equipped with everything you need – from dishes to modern appliances. Everything works perfectly! We especially liked the comfortable mattress. We can fully recommend this place! 😊

Karin and Wolfgang welcomed me very warmly and I immediately felt welcome in your house. They are very helpful and always available, wonderful conversation partners and tipsters and you feel comfortable and arrived from the beginning. It's all absolutely straightforward and it's the perfect place to relax or be active in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is optimal. Super clean and tidy, friendly furnishings and flooded with light. The sunny balcony offers a magnificent view of the surrounding nature and invites you to relax. The kitchen and bathroom leave absolutely nothing to be desired. The bed is very comfortable and guarantees a good night's sleep together with the incredible silence. All as described, great apartment. There were eight of us as a family and so we got along well with the sleeping places, although there are no enclosed spaces. The terrace is sensational with views of the harbour.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful and the garden was huge and well maintained. Very quiet area in the heart of nature. Pauline's mother, very kind and welcoming. We'll be back soon, we fell in love with this place 💕

We stayed with Ronny for two nights with our dog! The tiny house leaves nothing to be desired! It is completely fenced so the dog could run free. 200m away is a small bay on the water to relax! We will definitely be back! Ronny is a very accommodating and warm host. He gave us great recommendations.

We were there with 6 adults and 2 children (3.5 and 0.5 years). We had a lovely time and felt right at home in the house. The sauna is definitely a highlight as well as the small stream at the front door. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.

The entrance to the cottage is via number 9, and then follow signs “Haus Frieden”. You can enjoy peace and nature here, you only hear crickets, birds and frogs. It is lovely to sit/eat and enjoy under the porch. Across the road, you can walk into the forest where you can follow various hiking trails, usually you will not meet anyone, it is that quiet. It is nice to walk to the village Ludwigswinkel and have a nice meal or a drink there. You can also easily walk to the next village through the forest, Fischbach. Here you will also find a supermarket, bakery and a tasty doner/kebab shop.

Torsten and Simone were wonderful and very attentive hosts. The apartment and location were perfect, we lacked nothing. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

Marvellous hosts who couldn't do enough for us. They welcomed us in person and gave us some wine and beer! They were always available to answer any questions and to make suggestions as to what we should do. We loved the position by the little Brook and the balcony was really nice to relax on after a long walk! We loved the area and will definitely try and return in the future.
