Family-friendly vacation rentals in Kananaskis

Stayed at Jeans place for our annual getaway with friends and this was the perfect place to stay. Everything was as described and having king beds in each room made for an easy coin toss. We also had the added bonus of sleeping in brand new mattresses. We’ll be looking to stay at Jeans again next fall.

I had a wonderful stay at Chad's place! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to supermarkets and the check-in process was super smooth!

Easy peasy! Great little condo with everything we needed, great mountain view, easy to walk to all of Canmore. Ben was super fast to respond and friendly. The resort has a front-desk check-in 24/7, so all was smooth and easy.

Great location, very walkable,restaurants and coffee shop nearby, safe area for family. Trans Canada highway easily accessible from condo. Underground parking!

We had an incredible stay at Sean’s! We were constantly blown away by how thoughtfully stocked the condo was. Every time we thought of an item we might need, it was there, readily available to us. We really appreciate a wonderful place to use as our home base on our trip! We would definitely love to stay there again if we ever visit Canmore in the future.

We stayed at Roman’s place for a few nights to explore Banff and the surrounding area. It was the perfect spot to be our home base. It was central to everything and provided everything we needed to unwind after a long day of seeing the most beautiful sites Canada has to offer. The location is well furnished and well stocked. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great place to stay if you have an upcoming trip to Banff. Only ~20 mins to Banff and Canmore is a lovely little town with many good restaurants. Would highly recommend this place!

We had an amazing stay at Nicole's place. It was a wonderful end unit with great views and outside lighting. The mountains were great to look at while having coffee on the front patio. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. The condo was well worth the money, and we specially loved the artwork throughout the space. Highly recommend!

I have thought a lot about how best to review our stay and it was a bit tricky. We have stayed at the Solara before, and Jaqueline's place was as nice as any other. The only issue we had, and this was not with the suite itself, nor the host, but rather with the building. I believe that Solara may be dealing with some boiler issues, as we lost heat to the unit for one of the days. As did other units in the building. Jaqueline and her team were very responsive and were able to rush out 2 space heaters, while Gateway Mechanical worked to restore the boilers. They eventually managed to get the heat working. Again you can't fault the host or the unit, as these issues were out of their control. And to their defence, they were able to mitigate much of the inconvenience with the space heaters. Overall it was a lovely stay, and a great Canmore experience! I will not hesitate to give Jaqueline's place another try in the future!

This was our first trip to Canmore and our Air B&B did not disappoint! Perfectly located within walking distance of downtown Canmore restaurants, shops and walking trail. The instructions for building and parking access were crystal clear and easy to follow. The included parking space, lovely toiletries, full kitchen, and beautiful views were the highlights. We chose this units in lieu of using a local hotel for similar price, and are so glad we did. We felt more at home, and enjoyed the space, our own meals, and total privacy! Would book again 100%. Thank you for the perfect Canmore visit!

The place was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed having bunk beds for the kids. The kitchen was stocked with all the kitchen equipment we needed. If we return to the area we will stay again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Corys Place for 4 nights. The place was clean and had everything we needed and it was easy to communicate with the hosts about any questions we had. There was also someone working the front desk which made it feel like a hotel! The location was a few minutes outside of the Canmore town centre which made it very peaceful. I would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. We were a family of six adults, and the unit is large and comfortable. The view was incredible, the unit was well stocked. The beds were all extremely comfortable and washrooms were large with great water pressure in both showers. The unit was very clean. There were plenty of towels for bathroom and swimming. Some of the kitchen cooking tools, dishes and pans show some wear and tear but was all very manageable and it did not take anything away from this wonderful place! Living room seating was all updated, clean and also very comfortable. The resort amenities are all well kept and beautiful. Outdoor patio area, heated pool and hot tub were fun to use and we all enjoyed the amenities the resort had to offer. Parking was also nice to have underground and easy to access. Little extras in the unit were appreciated such as spices, coffee and tea. It was very easy to communicate with Shaheen, they are great hosts! We had a great time, Thank you Shaheen

We have stayed with Bill multiple times now and are always impressed with the beautiful mountain views, cleanliness and hospitality. Bill and his team are very receptive to any of our needs and get back to us right away. The pool is amazing and the roof top patio with the view of the mountain is so relaxing. You are in a perfect location to explore canmore with restaurants and shopping just a short walk away. We will be back again. My only tip would be in on a hot day to make sure you read the instructions on cooling down the space before bed so you are set up for success.

This was such a great stay for our family of 5. As an Airbnb host, I really appreciated the extra touches - coffee, drinking water filter, in-unit laundry with supplies. The unit is spacious, clean, with everything you might need. 2 underground, secure parking spots are provided. Beds and pillows are comfortable, kids loved the slide and pool. Checkout was easy. Location in Canmore was super convenient for our activities, plus we really enjoyed the town for easy dining and avoiding crowds. It’s a quick drive to Banff which was super busy, so glad we found this place. Michael is a great host. Don’t hesitate to book. We plan to come back in the summer!

Adam is a great communicator and flexible; we had to spend the night at the airport the night before checking in. Adam was kind to let us check-in early which helped our family. The parking garage was clean and safe and very quick to get to the condo. Condo location is great with nice views of the mountains and huge balconies. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner meals easily. The condo is very clean and was comfortable for our family of four including two little boys. We would stay here again!

We loved our stay! Lots of room and comfy beds. Kitchen had everything we needed. Really nice having two bathrooms too. The resort complex was really good too. We had a lot of fun in the indoor/outdoor hot tub, and we had several great meals at the restaurant. There are a number of restaurants in walking distance from the resort.

I recommend this home if you're looking for a place to stay that: is in a quiet neighborhood, is a clean home, has a heated pool and jacuzzi (to use after a long day of exploring), has accessible parking, is a short drive to Banff, is walkable to nearby restaurants, and has a friendly and responsive host. The only thing that bothered me was the bed (bedroom with 2 beds), but this could be because it's softer than what I normally like. Nonetheless, the 4 of us enjoyed our stay!

My family and I enjoyed Celina's space. From the brand new sponge to quality paper towels, the condo was well appointed to the smallest detail. Heated indoor parking. A short jaunt to Banff and surrounding attractions. The kitchen was well stocked with high quality cook and dishware. We would love to come back for another stay. Highly recommend.
