A house where you can fully enjoy nature

JoelRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Nice stay, it’s a different place as it’s a coffee shop which is used as an air BnB it seems but it was good! It would benefit from some darker blinds and maybe a sofa to relax instead of just coffee tables and chairs. Location and host were excellent, we would stay again!

The room features two spacious beds with white linens and a light-colored wall. A minimalist white sofa and a small side table are positioned near a large window, allowing natural light to illuminate the space. Soft curtains provide privacy while enhancing the calming atmosphere.

3 Ensuited House near ski area (max 11 ppl)

GregRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We loved out stay at Donguri house. Easy walk to the gondola for skiing. The house was very spacious and accomodated our group of adults very easily. Windy is great to communicate with. Drying room at the entrance was very effective or drying our ski gear each day. We would definitely stay again if we come to Furano.
A spacious room with elegant wooden flooring features a cozy sofa with two cushions and a low-profile table at the center. Large windows are dressed with light curtains, allowing natural light to fill the space. A television is situated on a low cabinet near sliding shoji doors.

民宿やまのほ

NinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The hosts are very kind and responsive. They offered to pick us up from the station and also drove us around the area, as we came without a car. We traveled with a small child, which was no problem. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook. We also ordered the delicious dinner, that the host offers and delivers directly to the place for an additional price. We can further recommend the Shirataki Geopark Visitors Center and their exhibition on Obsidians. They offer workshops to make different things. If you are interested in Aikido, the founder Morihei also lived in Shirataki. A remote, naturesque and interesting place we can only recommend!
A spacious two-story house features a modern design with large windows that provide ample natural light. The property is surrounded by open fields and greenery, with a paved outdoor area and a clear blue sky in the background.

Hanare-no-Yado, an old house

RyanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place is a gem. It’s a little off the beaten path in Furano (which is just what we wanted), but it’s still walkable to town. It’s all about the details here. From a squishy bathroom floor thats insanely comfortable to the amazing window screens that keep the apartment cool during the day to the beautiful decorative details. It’s warm, rustic and comfortable. And the setting is unlike anywhere I’ve been. Situated among rice paddies and farms with the mountains in the distance. Chefs kiss. It’s clear that Tomo has put a lot of care into building this place. 10/10.

A private villa ~ 10 minutes to Asahiyama Zoo, 30 minutes to Biei, 50 minutes to Furano and Asahidake ~

知佳Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
It was a villa with a lovely wood scent.I am very satisfied with the cleanliness, tidiness, and the furniture. Also, the area is quiet and the scenery is very good.It is less than a 10-minute drive to the city center of Higashi Chikuma and has good access. There were plenty of nice shops around the center of the city, so I had no trouble finding food.I had dinner in the city and used a return agent to get home for 2,900 yen. However, the stairs are steep and there is no fence, so I think it would be difficult for people with bad legs to get to the bed on the second floor. It is possible for children to slip and fall from a height of nearly 2 meters, so if you have small children, it is best to keep an eye on them indoors. I didn't fall into either category, so even if I was drunk, I could get to bed, so there was no particular problem.
A spacious living area features a comfortable blue sofa accompanied by a decorative green pillow. The room is adorned with floral wallpaper and a clock on the wall. A door leads to another area, while an open window above allows natural light to fill the space.

Nana’s house is spacious yet cost and homely. It’s well-equipped and everything works well. It’s clean, neat and tidy - Nana really put in great effort to ensure a comfy stay for her guests. We appreciate the drinks and snacks provided too. Nana and her sister are very responsive and friendly. Bath towels were a bit small - would be great if bigger and thicker ones are provided😉 We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this place.

Tomamu Ski Resort&Sta 5 min by car&Shuttle

Wee ToonRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Nice & convenient place to stay at, as it is close to Hoshino Tomamu Ski Resort where we will be heading to… there’s a Izakaya restaurant serving some really nice food nearby just 5 mins walk/drive down the road… our bedroom is located at the second level, and fits 3 persons nicely, but space is a bit tight for our big luggages… good thing is that the host allowed us to put our luggages when not in use into a spare room next door, leaving a bit more space within our bedroom… the bathrooms and toilets are located on the ground floor... place has a nice kitchen for us to chill and relax at night… our host is a friendly gentleman always ready to offer us help in terms of advice in getting around etc… overall, still a great place to stay at!

Two Bedroom Luxury Apartment (Top Floor)Ski In Out

JohnRating, 5 stars54 months ago
Beautiful apartment - good layout to feel more spacious and comfortable. Loved the fireplace, comfy couch and well set up kitchen. Perfect spot at the bottom of the ski lift for easy access to the slopes. Neil and Gabriel were super supportive and kind, and it was great that they could give us a lift to the grocery store and other activities so I didn’t have to drive on the icy streets. A perfect getaway for a winter vacation for my wife, daughter and I. Would be glad to come again!

Although the homestay has just opened, the host's service and enthusiasm are very professional. You can pick us up and drop us off at the station as if you were staying in a hotel. The host is a young man in his 30s and is good at skiing onboarding. If he has time, he can also exchange skiing skills with you. The tourist program at the nearby Star Wild Resort and some attractions to Furano and some attractions to Furano, he will tell you enthusiastically. In short, as a first trip to tomamu, I got a lot of convenience. Thank you🙏

Awesome host. We came very late and he was there to help us through the check in process. He was very accommodating to show us to our room and explain everything else. As for the room, it was comfortable enough that we managed to have a good sleep. Decent space for you to open up your luggage on the floor.

Great location, just a few mins drive to the resort. The drive is also easy and safe, not dangerous to drive up yourself. Place is very clean and well maintained. Host is pretty busy with lots of guests but very helpful when needed. Place has only 2 shower rooms and only one available for guys, so it can get a little congested at night when everyone comes back, but otherwise, everything was good.

Snowy landscape !retreat in mountains of Furano

SheilaRating, 5 starstoday
Location was convenient to access furano town as well as the surrounding attractions by car. The villa was lovely this time of the year (June) with lupines and daisies peppering the front yard. There was ample parking space. Rooms and beds/sofa beds were as described. The kitchen was well equipped and there was even salt, pepper and oil provided. Everything we needed was provided for. The interior of the villa was clean and well maintained. Loved the water pressure from the shower. The only negatives were the first floor was warm and stuffy even with the air-conditioning on. There was an unpleasant smell emanating from the basement but it was only smelt when one walked by the stairs leading to the basement or when in the basement doing laundry.

It was the best accommodation that gave us good memories! It is located a little far from downtown, so it is very quiet, and you can see the stars pouring in at night. The host was so kind throughout our stay and answered our questions right away. I loved the restaurants recommended by the host, and I felt good throughout the trip with the kindness he showed me. Thank you for the gift of good memories!!

We were a group of 4 who chose the house house as base camp for ski touring. The bedrooms can become quite cold if you don't keep the heater running during the night but the house has a lot of space and a good location. Ryu is a very kind host and passionate snowboarder. He gave us good advice on where to find the best conditions.
