apartment is very Peaceful and sea beach very near also shopping centre you can walk by yourself . garden very clean and beautiful. our family spend very nice time together at the apartment. Specially with papa everything is best There was a lake just next to the garden. Highly recommend. we will come back again soon.

From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

A large manor with a very unique and beautiful environment. There are coconut groves, mango trees, and starfruit trees... The location is also very good. It's right next to the beach. The service is very welcoming. It feels like home. It's also very personalized. Because we came back late from whale watching, they gave us a house to check out late. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to stay at the hotel and enjoy such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it.

Great Location in the Center of town, close to the Beach! Super Communication and very Nice room with a Little kitchen! I was in the 3d floor, nice view. Will come back if there!

Absolutely amazing 😍 One of the best rentals in my life. Ideal for a big family or 2-3 couples, and the price is more than reasonable. Definitely exceeded my expectations. We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

Loved the villa! Right on the beach. Spacious. Loved the simple, elegant interiors, and the muted lighting. We all had a great time in the pool by the beach. The speaker is awesome. Jaan was always prompt in responding. And they proactively informed us that we could check out late as they had no booking on that day - thank you Jaan. The local caretaker Gayan, who lives nearby, comes every day to clean the pool and was helpful. He also drives a tuktuk himself. He came to check on us a few times despite his son being unwell - thank you Gayan. There is a supermarket at a walking distance and a restaurant (called A2). The main town, restaurants, touristy shops are less than 3 kms away and tuktuks are very easily available for hire (the pickme app worked like a charm). We stayed during the off season, so it is quite likely that during the peak season, there are beachfront restaurants and bars operational at a walking distance from the villa.

The stay was great all around – the place was clean, cozy and exactly as described. I would especially like to highlight the host: incredibly friendly, helpful and always available. You felt immediately welcome. I highly recommend this place and the host. Thanks for the great time!

We loved staying at Shaun’s villa! Out of the eight places we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka, this was our favorite. The location, the villa, and being so close to the ocean was just what we needed. The villa was clean, well looked after, and felt really welcoming. Whenever we had a question, we got a quick and helpful reply, which made everything super easy. We also really liked the great food just across the street, which we could easily order to the villa. And being close to The Doctor’s House was a big plus – fun weekend market and tasty dinners in the evenings. We’re a family of four and felt super comfortable here. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back one day!

Villa vador is a a very special place, quiet and peaceful except for the lizards and monkeys… we took young children and it was very comfortable and Sasun and his team were very helpful.

Nice budget-friendly place to explore Weligama! A scooter will come in handy, as you are a little bit outside the centre. The kitchen and the bed are great. There is warm water and the hosting family is kind and attentive. It is basic, but convenient. Good value for money.

We just adored our stay at Olivia’s villa! What a treat to be able to experience the culture and history of the house in the best location right in the fort, it truly is magical, artistic and colourful! We enjoyed sundowners on the roof terrace and wandering around to all of Olivia’s recommendations for food and shopping! We stayed with 2 young children at the house which was no issue at all. Kanthi was an exceptional house keeper and we really enjoyed her delicious food! We will be sure to stay again one day when we travel to Sri Lanka! A highlight for our trip 😍

Our stay at the Nest Residence,m was absolutely wonderful! The property was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to ensure guests feel at home. The attention to detail in the amenities provided made our experience stress-free and enjoyable. The location was convenient, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to key attractions. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We highly recommend the Nest Residence to anyone and We’ll definitely be back in the future!

I stayed in the guest cottage on a lovely private (gated) property full of jungly trees, birds, and monkeys! Eva has built a paradise. It was wonderful to walk down to yoga a few times. Overall it's exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet (except for all the bird chatter, but that was lovely). Also the staff are so lovely and helpful and smiling. Just a reminder that there's no AC, and you are in the jungle so be obsessively clean in the kitchen (hello ants) and don't let the little lizards scare you. I named one Fred. :). If the wifi doesn't work, just find the wifi repeater and ensure it's plugged in, and ta da, the signal perks right up. Highly recommend.

Wowww. Where do I even begin?! We were stunned by how much more beautiful this place was in person. It exceeded all our expectations!! The location can’t be beat. Corner unit, two floors, multiple balconies & floor-to-ceiling windows/doors to catch the beach & gorgeous sunset views from any angle! The bedrooms with attached bathrooms, common areas & divine master suite are so spacious and luxurious! I have to give *high praise* for how well maintained this unit is by Dodampe, his lovely caretaker Upul, and the cleaning staff. The place was sparkling clean - kitchen, curtains, sofas & other furniture/fixtures seemed almost brand new! Incredibly high standards for cleanliness, presentation & keeping unit in excellent working order with no issues. Our family of seniors, young adults, and children had lots of privacy for ourselves as well as generous common areas to spend together. Many thanks to Upul for his warmth, responsiveness, all his help & advice. He even brought a welcome gift!

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

Pavi, Bathi and their family and friends are the loveliest of people, always ready to help or offer advice when needed. Our apartment was situated on the 2nd floor and was lovely, bedroom and bathroom bare very large as is the kitchen diner, if there was anything you needed Pavi got it sorted asap, the grounds are immaculate and have a plethora of wildlife wandering the grounds, the use of the swimming pool was a great addition. Polhena itself is situated in a great spot for travelling out from and has a wonderful little beach(it does get busy at weekends). Shops are in walking distance as is the main town of Matara or a short fun tuk tuk ride. Colombo and other places are easily accessible via buses or train, both a fun way to travel. We will be back.

The accommodation is beautiful and right on the sea. If you don't want to eat in the restaurant in the building complex, you always need a taxi to the nearest restaurant. Special requests were always taken into account and fulfilled. Furthermore, we were helped a lot in organizing the transfer to the airport.

Someone says that the road is noisy, yes, there is a road, but guys, you didn't come here to sit at home, get up and explore, so that nothing wakes you up at night! Amazing place, location and people, thank you!
