The apartment has direct access to a private patio, where you can relax with a cup of coffee in the morning sun. The general atmosphere is cozy yet it has a contemporary feel thanks to its bamboo floors in the bedroom and modern tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. No smoking is allowed in the unit.

It was a delight to stay with Carole. Carole is very welcoming and ready for a chat as schedules align. This bedroom is so peaceful, with everything you might need. The mattress, pillows, bedding, and towels all were of superior quality. Bus stops are easily accessible.

My son and I visited my daughter who goes to school in DC. We all stayed in the place. I agreed with all the other feedback about Angela being very helpful and responsive. The place is immaculately clean and is located in a very nice quiet neighborhood. It is a 5 min walk to the nearest Capital Bike Share docking station, 5 min walk to two bus stations that took us directly to the nearest Metro station and 10 min walk to Safeway and Trader Joe's. The only two drawbacks are that it is a basement unit with a very tiny window so it is dark mostly and there isn't a full-size stove and oven. To solve the latter problem, Angela has cleverly provided an air fryer and portable stove which worked well in cooking simple meals. I enjoyed my stay and will book again next time I am in town.

The room is very nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable, the location is perfect ! Walking distance to Dupont Circle metro station, to lots of restaurants, bars and supermarkets... It's easy to find, easy to access (on the first floor so there are not too many steps) and check-in instructions were very clear. The WiFi was strong and reliable. The room is also surprisingly quiet, even at night. The hosts let us check in early which we really appreciated. Perfect for a couple nights in DC!
