Monthly Rentals in Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve

The place on top of the hill offers amazing views. 2 wonderfull small birds stay around the house and we even got to see an eagle on the pole in front of the house looking to hunt. Amza was a very welcoming host and helped us with all our arrangements for the visit of Queen Elizabeth National park & other activities. The gorge & community walk we did with him was beautiful and we learnt a lot from our conversations with him. Absolute high point of the visit was the Ugandan Diner at the lodge. The team went out of their way to create a beautiful feast meal! And it was delicious. We would definately recommend to stay in this spacious and comfortable house.

I have truly enjoyed my week at Dave the Cave! What a welcoming and beautiful place. The lodge was very comfortable with a private bathroom and a breathtaking view by the lake (with monkeys visiting in the morning), the common areas were really nice for hanging out. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper due to the lively frogs, note that wifi and network in general can be a bit unstable and that the road does get quite bad with heavy rain. Not only is Dave the Cave a great place to stay but there is so much to see in the nearby area, I had many nice walks around the lakes, swims, meeting locals ++ They write "You come as a Guest and Leave as a friend" and I can say this is true, thank you so much Dave, Medie, Passy, chef Dennis, Selly ++ I hope to be back soon!

Fantastic views and a wonderful team. Mattresses could be more comfortable especially in master bedroom. Really lovely place and really enjoyed our stay
