Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kalahari Desert

Louis is a great host. We moved our check-in time twice and he was always quick to respond and accommodate. The house has a well-maintained garden and was very clean. When we had queries during our stay, Louis was quick to respond and ensure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again.

Loved the place, good stop between Namibia and SA. One thing ;-) please fix the water pump outside , the noise is a bit of a nuisance.

A wonderful spot if you are looking for a remote & peaceful but still very comfortable stay. We try and find out of the way spots that showcases the best of the beautiful SA countryside and Lindys place is certainly one of those. The home is very secluded and private with excellent finishings too. If you are an astronomy or star-gazing enthusiast then this is a highly recommended location as the nigh sky is unbelievably awesome here. Literally horizon to horizon...

We had an amazing and relaxing time at Johanna and Henk’s ! Very quiet, confortable and beautiful ! Everything you need was there, we even stayed one more night ! Thank you so much again for everything ♥️

My wife, daughter and I spent last night at Casa Bena. The house is very roomy and comfortable. Breakfast consisting of eggs, cheese, yogurt and bread was provided for the first night. Antony is a great host. He was extremely responsive to all of my messages and very helpful. We would definitely stay at Casa Bena if we return to Maun.

We were so pleased with Jo-Annelee’s place! Her home is very tastefully decorated and had all the amenities that one would hope for. We were particularly impressed by her well stocked kitchen.

Katja's place is beautiful with the little garden. My kids loved it. Katja was always available when we needed information about the house. There was a lot of space inside the house and a garage to park the car. It has a quiet neighbourhood. We really appreciated being able to stay with Katja.

Comfortable apartment in a quiet area of Swakopmund. I liked that they have a topper for the sleeper couch to make it more comfortable. Parking for 1 car inside the gate.

Great Place! Great People! I really enjoyed my stay. Good communication and very focused on solving every little problem or request. Appreciate it. Would stay again! Only room for improvement is Internet for Voice Calls, which can be a challange sometimes (not always).

Amazing place! completely worth

Very nice place, completely cost that money. Inside is everything you need. Clean and cozy. Laguna, restaurants and center of the city are in close proximity. Highly recommend.

The place was more than what we expected. The pictures didn’t do it justice. All the listed amenities were available, the place was well furnished, appliances were new and a lot of thought was put into making sure that we were happy and lacked nothing. We were literally in the mountains with scenic views and tranquil energy. We LOVED it. My partner and I highly recommend it!

Gwent is a lovely host, and helped us by putting our frozen food in her own freezer. Lots of attention to small details. a lovely pool to cool down. Only 30 km to the magnificent Augrabies falls and National park. Highly recommended.

Far from home we felt really welcome. We love people with that special AirBnB attitude, to host people and let them feel home. Patrick and Hercules did that from the first minute we arrived. It was a hard and long road trip for us, we arrived at Patrick’s place at sunset, hours too late but he made us welcome with a smile. Thanks! The green garden in that semi-arid region was an oasis to rest. For us, the perfect place to relax and to do our washing. Hercules was always around when we had a question or a request. Kameel is a small spot but we went shopping and could refuel our car – just two minutes by car. Both of them made our wedding anniversary to a special evening – a tasty (lekker) homemade candle light dinner. In spite of load shedding Patrick and Hercules all the time provided running water, light inside the bungalow and internet connection.

Even though we didn’t catch any tigers, we made loads of memories! Murray’s place had a tranquility that was a balm. It was wonderful to retreat and reset priorities, away from devices we played endless card games and laughed more than we thought possible. But we will need to return to catch those elusive tigers!

I was travelling as a solo female, and this spot is 3km from the nearest village, which is 10km from the main road, which was over 20km to town! This is a dream remote destination! Gwen and Loggy were both my champions and protectors for my adventure, I was equally grateful for both. Gwen did absolutely everything she could to assist with my itinerary despite being a busy lady herself, she never let me feel a burden! Divine is one of the farm managers who was equally kind and supportive in everything. This place is spiritually and mentally healing and thrilling at the same time, safety was never a question (even when overnight camping in the Bush with hunting lions roaming/roaring!) and Maun is a great and accessible place! Be sure to rent a 4x4 and get ready to call a new place Home!

What a beautiful setting and a charming house ! Peaceful and quiet . Beautifully decorated , and some lovely touches to make you feel comfortable . We left relaxed and rested

This is one of our favorite places we’ve stayed!! First of all, the photos do not even come close to doing justice for this place. The whole property is insanely beautiful and feels like you’re in a fancy lodge at times while being rustic. Willemien is one of the sweetest and most helpful hosts we’ve ever had. I 10/10 recommend this place
