The Pearl of Whakatiwai

The Pearl of Whakatiwai. A completely restored Bed/kitchen/dining room with separate shower and toilet. This house was built in the 50's and so we have lovingly recreated the whole 50's vibe for your enjoyment. Right on the edge of the Firth of Thames you can lie in bed and see the views that go on forever. A great little kitchen with new oven and fridge, plus all the tools you need if you want a "foodie" get away. We do not have a TV, but great WiFi. Great fishing right on your doorstep.

We absolutely love living here and thought we would like to share one of our favourite places with others. We offer a beautiful one-bedroom cottage with a lovely outdoor wood fire tub and a romantic little area with a firepit, nestled in a natural setting with views of a stream, native bush and native birds. Fabulous on Thames coast. Stylish, well appointed 1 bedroom cottage, open plan living, dining, kitchen with direct access to lovely outdoor relaxation areas. A quiet haven off the main road, only 100 mtrs easy walk to beach reserve and fishing. Enjoy the birdsong, sunrise and daytime hours in the shady, tropical garden at the rear of the house with its generous outdoor seating and dining facilities, and take in the sunset from the deck and coastal garden in the front of the house.

A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. Our Airbnb is a small self-contained guest house away from the main family home. It has its own ensuite bathroom, sun deck, TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, bar fridge and microwave. It overlooks the rolling hills of Waikato and you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset from your own deck. It is located in the rural area of Pokeno south of Auckland. It’s conveniently close to SH1 and SH2, but far enough to not hear any traffic.
