Close to nature with all the comforts of home. The Birch House was constructed in 2022 and is pleasantly furnished and pristine. This cottage features a kitchen, eating area, two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), one bathroom, and a comfortable living area with a queen size sofa bed.

Our close proximity to town allows short distance travel times to enjoy all the unique offerings of the area.

This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well! It includes one comfy queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and a small but capable kitchen. Longer stays here are economical and comftorable.

With a view of Kachemak Bay, the Homer Spit and glaciers, "Birch Grove" features two acres of backyard with dozens of Birch trees. It is conveniently located, a seven minute drive to downtown Homer, and 12 minutes to the Homer Spit. Perfect for guests who wish to relax in a quiet space and be close to adventure. There are two Bedrooms with queen beds and a queen sofa bed. Please note our home is a PET FREE space.
