Andrea was an exceptional host, very helpful and responsive. The place was more beautiful than the photos and the attention to detail inside was very nice. I highly recommend a stay here for a very peaceful, restful, and for the amazing views and experience.

what an experience! felt so surreal to be staying at this place. the view, front porch, garden, and the gazebo were great touches to enjoy nature without having to go into it. everything was cleaned well. lots to do around here! 10-20 mins away from all the fun things going on in Monteverde. curi cancha reserve, orchid garden, butterfly garden, el tigre waterfall fav place to eat Soda Shangri La would not drive in the dark. we stayed in after 530p small store 1 min away by car- 6 min walk that has basic essentials! would recommend stopping at bigger grocery store on way in for needs had a Mitsubishi fwd that had a 4x4 mode and that was a no no. not worth it to attempt to drive up. he has a small 2 car lot a bit above the base of the entrance - park there and walk up bugs galore. keep the windows/doors closed. also make sure you don't lock yourself out! if you do not like bugs please do not stay here. the bugs get really loud in the night, put ear plug & wear bug spray, reapply

Jen and Franz , we're AMAZING host ! They offered us more than a Airbnb but helped make our experience in Costa Rica one to remember. The Airbnb had a beautiful view 😍 ❤️ , the photos don't do it justice. They were very helpful getting settled in and provided additional items that were very helpful during our stay. The included breakfast was truly a fine dining experience with everything being so fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The location was about 30 minutes away from La Fortuna if you don't mind the drive. The El Castillo is beautiful itself and a little less crowded which we liked. I would highly recommend staying here if you are wanting a beautiful view and away from the tourist area.

Wonderful Airbnb! Looked exactly like pictures and it was so pretty and peaceful. Was easy to find and felt safe. The only issue was the amount of little bugs everywhere. Everything else was clean. Would be helpful to have more than two towels for guests.

Everything about the space felt romantic and peaceful—from the cozy, comfortable bed and cool A/C to the dreamy outdoor shower and stunning hot tub surrounded by nature. The thoughtful touches like snacks, wine, and personalized details made us feel so welcomed. Communication with the host was excellent, and the entire stay was quiet, private, and incredibly relaxing. The view was amazing, the space was clean, I had everything I needed, the homemade granola, yogurt and fresh eggs were a great touch (although I am vegan). She recommended I go to Jaco for beach activities and I found wonderful vegan restaurants there which was everything for me. I have recommended this quaint paradise to a couple friends looking for a relaxing retreat. Lastly, Margarita was made for this, such a beautiful and warm spirit.
