Dream beach house , perfect staycation. Near city

Perfect getaway from the city life. Kayaking, paddling fishing, beach play, Bbq.. Only 25 minutes by Uber from Kowloon Station, to beach paradise without being completely isolated. Pleasant modern four storey house with the beach right by the house and a crystal clear sea. A BBQ grill in-front of the house is where you will enjoy dinners, sausages, and marshmallows. Kitchen has a Nespresso machine and everything needed for cooking. Helpful and kind neighborhood.

I didn't want a hotel that was too small and dirty, and since it was the holidays, good hotels were too expensive, so I tried Airbnb for the first time and it was a great choice. Harvey, the host, was very friendly and attentive. From the taxi to and from the airport, to the tourist routes, descriptions of the property, and transportation tips. The house was clean and he provided extra blankets and a heater as it was unusually cold the week we stayed. It really felt like we were staying at a friend's house in Hong Kong.

The cabin is perfect for our weekend getaway. It's cozy, clean, and had everything that we needed. It's very close to Sai Kung town but tucked away in a quiet spot right by a private beach. Josephine and Alfie were wonderful hosts. They went way above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay, provided a gas grill for us to make dinner one night, and gave great suggestions for hiking/kayaking. It's definitely one of the best hidden gems in Hong Kong!

This place worked perfectly for me, a solo traveller needing a spot close to West Kowloon Station for my bullet train the next day. A nespresso machine provided a very welcome post flight coffee, it was great to chat to the other travellers, the capsules were cool. All in all it was just the ticket for a short stay that has some sociability to it. Headed to the heritage museum which was great especially the digital art ahead of a delicious dinner on the waterfront watching the sunset over the islands.
