Absolutely beautiful home. Was just as advertised - the pool and hot tub were amazing in an incredibly peaceful setting. Loved the views and the quiet setting. A great place to recharge. I already want to go back!

OMG! Words simply cannot express the beauty that Ryan captured within his home in Joshua Tree. It is truly what other comments also awe over. The scenery, the outdoor patio with the cowboy pool, jacuzzi and daybed are truly just as described/photographed. We cannot wait to check out Ryan’s other architectural projects and/or plan another stay at Starfire 2! Thank you Ryan!!!

This trip was very likely my favorite AirBnB experience yet. Wonderful home and hosts. The property in person is somehow even cooler than the photos. Every window looks like a gorgeous painting. The downstairs is spacious and open with lots of natural light and amazing views. The upstairs has several really cool breakout spaces for working or relaxing in private. Everything was clean, labeled, and well-stocked and the hosts were very communicative. In just a couple nights, we saw all kinds of desert critters - lizards, bunnies, birds, and an awesome jackrabbit - and the yard itself looks like you're in the National Park, with Joshua trees and alien-looking cacti everywhere. The stars out here are simply breathtaking. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. This was my first time doing a desert vacation as someone who never understood why that biome would be appealing. I finally get it! Stay here if you can, you won't regret it.

Magical place. It was a special treat for us, and we are so happy to have stayed here. Very private and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Would definitely return!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The place felt safe and cozy from the moment I arrived. I absolutely loved the pool—such a perfect spot to relax. The interior decoration was beautiful and minimal, giving the space a calm, stylish vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept like a baby through out the night. Also, a big shoutout to Chelsea, the host—she was so welcoming and responded to all my questions very quickly, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place and would definitely love to stay again!

My wife and I really enjoyed our getaway to Joshua Tree, and staying at Mia's place was a huge reason why. The house is styled very nicely and has many noteworthy amenities. In particular, we enjoyed sitting in the pool chairs, half submerged, while soaking up the sun. The giant TV in the game room, with reclining chairs, is a great way to watch a movie. The house is very close to the park, and because it sits up on a hill, there are breathtaking sunset views to enjoy every single evening. Finally, Mia is the perfect host. Every message I sent her was responded to within ten minutes. We definitely will look to book Mia's place for a future trip!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay here. It was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday weekend with friends and my husband and toddler. The place is spacious, thoughtfully designed, and the kid amenities went above and beyond! It’s rare to find a place with the luxe aesthetic / vibe while also having kid amenities. My toddler loved playing with all the toys and pool time in the repurposed shipping container was so fun. My toddler enjoyed his floatie, which was so nice to have as this was his 1st time in a pool. We had everything we needed. Perfect stay!

Audrey was so friendly throughout our stay, and her home felt so cozy. I absolutely love that her place had so much personality. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

My friend and I had a wonderful time in Tonelise's guest home! The house was located in an idea spot, close by to the main road where we could easily access all of the restaurants, cafes and entrance to Joshua Tree park. Tonelise was also very responsive and helpful with all kinds of information and advice to make the most of our stay. Thank you so much!

The studio was very cozy! It was what we needed for our Joshua Tree trip- comfortable beds, AC, kitchen, and we loved the added amenities of the pool after a long day of hiking and the deck for stargazing (the skies were clear and incredible). Thank you for hosting!

A beautiful and tranquil place right in the desert. Host was very helpful with directions and recommendations and always reachable when I needed anything. Can recommend!

This house was fantastic and just as described both in photos and what was written about it. There are other homes nearby-ish, but we felt that there was good privacy for our stay. The house very nice inside and the retro style appliances in the kitchen were great! We did not use the cowboy tubs (although I really wanted to, lol), but we did enjoy the hot tub under the stars. The bed was fantastic and the shower was great as well when we needed to clean off from the great day we spent in Pioneer Town and Joshua Tree. The parking was great and we will definitely be looking forward to spending time here again and probably for more than just one night. One nights stay was really not enough! lol

Meri’s Wilderness Cabin was perfect for we weary, stressed humans. The quiet solitude was life altering and we are trying hard to replicate it at home. The desert was a wonderful surprise and I will return as soon as possible! I highly recommend Meri as a host and her cabin as a sanctuary. It is beautiful and lovingly decorated, true to the environment and history of Joshua Tree.

We had an amazing stay at this peaceful Joshua Tree retreat. The place was clean, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved stargazing at night and enjoying the quiet desert vibe. The host was communicative and made check-in super easy. Would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time at Linda’s place. It’s very close to the national park’s entrance and it fits 3 people comfortably. The terrace is beautiful, I would recommend to wake up to see the sunrise. It’s a cozy little place that felt like home. It transforms from a spacious living room, to a cozy bedroom. Linda’s recommendations were very helpful and it was really private, we were having a girls trip and we also felt extremely safe there. Thank you Linda!

We loved staying at Kurt’s cabin! It was really comfortable and a nice remote location but still not too far from the main road for shops and bars. The only downside was not having working wifi- the passwords did not work/ and the tv didn’t work.

This is truly one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. We went for the location, but the attention to detail in every interior (and exterior) choice was immaculate and thoughtful. I’d recommend this house to anyone looking for a design led stay with considered and cosy furnishings. The bed was super comfy, we had one guest on the living room sofa bed which was equally as comfortable. The bathroom and shower were pristine, kitchen stocked with essentials and the outdoor space was cosy and inviting (we particularly liked the fire!) Views are beautiful, sunrise can’t be missed!
