Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Johnson County

This was my first Airbnb experience and Joyce was amazing. I was traveling with my two young daughters and she made us feel right at home and treated us like family. We came into town for the Eras Tour and were so stressed about finding a reasonably priced hotel for the weekend, and the amount of divine intervention that led me right to Joyce’s front door could be a movie plot. There were toys available for my littlest and Bailey the dog was so gentle and well trained. The house was beautiful, impeccably decorated and clean. We may book another trip just to see Joyce again.

Great place for us to stop nearby the interstate, headed home from a long road trip. We spend a few days relaxing by the pool and working remotely before going home. Communication with Erin was great. The pool was amazing. Plenty of towels. Everything felt very private, despite sharing the house. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed in Franklin for my daughters college graduation. Whitney's place was so charming, comfortable, and absolutely lovely. We wished we had more time there so we could enjoy all the fun games, hot tub, pool table, and lovely yard and town. The extras were wonderful and made it so easy to feel right at home. I would recommend this great, historical home to anyone! We are actually hoping to get back in the fall to do some antiquiting and be so happy to stay at Whitney's again.

The room at this house is very comfortable with quiet surroundings. It was our second time staying with David who is friendly and responds quickly to questions. His home is tidy and clean with a comfy bed and hot shower; plus it's so easy to find with many closeby activities, stores and restaurants. Downtown Indy is close via the interstate too. Overall, a very nice place to stay after a busy day of work, play or driving.

Paradise! I had a wonderful time at the Hutch House. The property is magical and I spent much of my time outdoors watching the wildlife and listening to the songbirds. The pond was especially beautiful at sunrise. I spent a week at the house for some relaxation before starting a new job, and it was just what I needed. The house was appointed with everything I needed during my stay. The kitchen in particular was stocked better than any Airbnb I’ve visited. A reverse osmosis faucet provided the best tasting water. There are of lamps for soft lighting as well as overhead lighting. The TV is modern and easy to use. Comfortable bedding. Richard was a perfect host and provided all information needed for an easy stay. Plus I was welcomed with a jar of the best apple butter I’ve ever tasted! I recommend Hutch House and hope to stay again!

This is a gem of a place to stay. Beautiful inspiring inquire clean and cozy. The host was very responsive. She made sure the hot tub was in tip top shape. We enjoyed the back patio fire pit and twinkle lights too

Quiet neighborhood, clean room and bathroom, very responsive host. Felt right at home and comfortable.

Unfortunately we arrived to find things not as clean as we were expecting given the 5 star rating/reviews when we booked. Afrina did respond quickly to our concerns, letting us know that the previous guest left the place in poor condition. She mentioned things were cleaned but items were left stained and they were in the process of getting new bedding. After taking photos and washing the sheets ourselves some of the sheets no longer had stains. It is difficult to say if things were not cleaned or if just additional cleaning was needed. We kept the host updated on how items were no longer dirty after we did additional cleanup. Needless to say it wasn’t as relaxing as we had planned and with food on the ground by the playhouse area we didn’t get to enjoy all the fun touches this place had to offer. On a positive side we worked with Airbnb to recover the full cleaning fee. Hope this is one time occurrence but make sure to take photos and notify Airbnb as they were great to work with.

I love what they have done to their home! It was comfortable and really quiet! Never even knew anyone else was even there ! She greeted us on the way in , and replied back quickly when we had questions. I would definitely stay again!

This place has it ALL! The location was perfect and everything was within walking distance! The penthouse itself was extremely clean and BEAUTIFUL. There were so many activities/amenities in the penthouse itself that we felt we didn’t need to leave to have a great time! Communication with the host was easy. He was responsive and made sure to check in to make sure everything was perfect! We will definitely be back and I will be sure to recommend this Airbnb to everyone! I can’t say enough great things about this place!!!!!!

This is our 2nd time staying at the Hideaway and we loved it just as much this time around. Gerri has done such a wonderful job making the place cozy, inviting and filled with amenities that we migjt have forgotten to pack. This will be the only place we book each year during our annual visit to Nashville. She is a wonderful host.

Exactly as listed! Read the listing thoroughly & you wont be disappointed. It is a beautiful setting, very relaxing. Host was friendly & responsive to all our questions. A few things to note: Yes the toilet is modern but you cannot flush toilet paper, you must throw your tp in the trash, as written in the listing. Ive lived places where the septic was like this so it was not at all an issue for me. The bathroom shower is nice & hot. My husband thought water flow was slightly lacking, I however thought it was perfect. I don’t like when the shower head is so forceful that it’s pelting you. The king bed is very comfy. We did encounter a few bugs inside, a few nats, 1 spider, an ant or 2, a stink bug. There are lots of bugs outdoors, which is good because it keeps the spiders out of the house. There isn’t much inside for them to eat so they stay out. We did not have any problems with mosquitos. Wifi and roku tv get better reception upstairs. After a good rinse the tubs were perfect!

We've been here several times now and it's our favorite hidden gem! Quick 15-minute drive to downtown Nashville and all the shops. Can stay at the home all day grilling out, playing games, enjoying the hot tub, and the kids will not want to leave the amazing outdoor swing!

This home is so peaceful and the outside space makes you feel like you’re in Narnia! We never wanted to leave! Thank you for this space and beautiful place!

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights to celebrate our anniversary. It was beautiful. The location was absolutely perfect! Only 10 minutes from downtown Nashville and only about 5 to the state park. We brought our pup along too! He felt right at home here (minus being too afraid to go upstairs but he’s just skittish lol). Luke was very responsive! We had noticed the bathroom door had a few hinges that came loose. That very next day, Luke stopped by to quickly fix it. It wasn’t a huge deal to us & we would have enjoyed our stay either way. But this is a testament to how much he cares about his listings & his guests. We will definitely be back!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s in a peaceful location where you can just sit on the front porch with no worries. Eric was an absolutely amazing host. There was lots of things to do such as games upstairs and outside there’s a fire pit. Eric thought of everything. The property was absolutely gorgeous and huge. The property is secluded, so if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this cabin is it.

This was our 2nd visit to Simple Blessings. We absolutely love it. Great way to spend my Birthday. Brian always checks in. So helpful. Love the sweet note , bread and Book. Will be back for sure.

I cannot say enough good things about this stay. The host was amazing answering questions almost as soon as I had written them, roses in the bedrooms, fresh flowers in the dinning room and living space. The place was spotless. The coffee bar made for great wake ups swinging on the porch swing and watching a fox walk down the lane. Sitting in the hot tub with the trees in moonlight watching the stars come out felt fantastic. This place had everything you could possibly need but forgot to pack and although the state park pass and the shops in town made for great adventures, I was seriously disappointed I did not have more time to just enjoy the lovely cabin. I could have been perfectly happy if I never ventured outside the cabin it was so nicely decorated and comfortable. We truly felt alone at the top of the world here. Thanks for the memories!
