The property is so serene and relaxing. Such a calming environment. A lot of beautiful nature sounds…wind blowing in the trees, all kinds of birds singing, crickets, etc. Nearby there were the most adorable donkeys, gorgeous horses, cute chickens and a rooster. We spotted some precious deer. They have fish food available to feed the fish and turtles. They have a lot of games (indoor & outdoors), movies, books and magazines. They have 3 smart t.v.’s. Great bathroom and kitchen amenities. Also, comfortable beds. Very nice and clean and lots of great smelling candles. The huge porch was soooo nice with a ceiling fan, string lights, etc. It was nice to see the star filled sky! They have a pier by the water and also have a fire pit :) Palestine is 10-15 minutes away with a lot of shopping, restaurants, 4 hr train ride, etc. I would definitely recommend this host/place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I love this cabin! It is spacious and clean, but the biggest compliment I would like to give is to the Host, Vacasa Guestworks! The host was proactive in helping us with minor issues and was easy to talk to. They went out of their way to ensure the place was comfortable since it was pretty cold here in Groesbeck! I will definitely rent this space again, especially since the hospitality is rated #1!

Karin’s lake house was private and peaceful! Her kitchen is well-stocked and her shed is filled with water toys, which our entire family enjoyed. The sunset is stunning to watch. We’ll be back again!

The adventure of a lifetime. Will be making a return visit as soon as possible. Girl’s Getaway Adventure that we will share forever. Loving animals that were very happy in their environment was so obvious. Really enjoyed animal husbandry that was shared about all animals on the ranch. Close-up and personal! Well worth the booking!
