Our quaint town, 8 miles north of Mt. Washington, is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common all within easy walking distance of the studio.

This is our second home for the past 20 years, we are happy to share it with you! We are dog friendly, we consider your dogs people, therefore they count towards the 4 "person" guest total. We have no cleaning fee, as frequent guests elsewhere we think they are a scam on airbnb, therefore, we don't charge one. However, we expect you to clean our home well before check out including vacuuming so that when we do it again, if our next guests have allergies they are likely to do well ! thanks!

Just up the road from the village of East Burke, we are close to nearby amenities yet in a quiet hillside surrounded by nature, the perfect location for a weekend getaway, whether you are biking, skiing, hiking or exploring the Northeast Kingdom.

Located close to Santas Village. Our home is very family friendly and is close to skiing, golf (Waumbek Golf Course opening Summer 2024) and other outdoor activities. After a long day of adventures, you can relax in the brand new hot tub (April 2023)! Need to work while you are here? Our home office will do the trick!
