Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Jefferson County

This worked great for our family - the one thing that might have been an issue is the upstairs bedrooms - we have 1 over 6ft and he would have had issues if he would have had to be upstairs. As it was, it wasn't an issue for the family members upstairs but that is just something to consider. Overall it was a great place to stay!

We look forward to staying here again next time we want to visit the downs. The hot tub was a nice amenity and the charm of the old home was nostalgic and comforting. Larry was personable and friendly. Welcomed us well

We had a wonderful time staying at Larry’s place. His home was beautiful and perfect for our large family! The home was filled with lots games and puzzles! The kitchen was large and perfect for hosting our son and daughter in laws dinner with family and friends who all came in to celebrate their college graduation with their Masters. Thank you again !

This home was as described, had plenty of room, and was comfortable. It has the necessities for a good stay. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful. Good value considering how many guests the house can accommodate. The neighborhood is large, but quiet.

My family enjoyed staying at Greg and Leah’s. We had 6 adults and 2 kids, but everyone felt like they had their own space! The gates at the top and bottom of the stairs were a big win with young kids. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

This magical space was this vintage loving girl’s dream stay! They kept all the charm of the home with modern twists that was just a dream for us! The bed is super comfortable a huge plus as that has not been the case at some in the past. They were so friendly and accommodating! We enjoyed coffee and tea on the patio and watched all the beautiful birds. It was the absolute best because they thought of everything we needed and more!! We can’t wait to come back again! Spaces like this spoil us for any other BNBs! You will not regret booking this beautiful space!

Mary’s place was one of our favorites. Plenty of room and very clean. Mary had all the little extras that helped a lot. Coffee pods, vegetable oil, salt, pepper, etc. Beds are very comfortable. The whole house is decorated very well. Everything was organized. I would highly recommend Mary’s place. John

Anne was friendly and helpful. She supplied so many extras that there was something in each room to make you smile, from a S'mores kit to robes and slippers, and extra shampoo and body wash. We were able to use the fire pit and felt comfy and at home during our stay.

Great place to stay- the apartment feels really new and is in a modern and clean building. The apartment itself is large, has a nice kitchen and nice layout (bedrooms are not connected). The area is beautiful and you are steps away from a wonderful walk/hike/run at the Falls of the Ohio state park. All amenities are there. The bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner - I think this was a short oversight as the rest of the house was very clean and tidy.

We had a WONDERFUL stay, the apartment was gorgeous. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Bruce was very responsive from the beginning of my booking through our complete stay. He went above and beyond with little details to make the stay so personal. We loved the muffins 😊 I highly recommend staying here while in the area. Nice clean place to rest your head if youre in town for work like I was. Close to restaurant's and downtown Louisville is 10 mins across the bridge. Neihhbors dog was a bit annoying with the constant barking. Overall liked the place!

Incredible located option in Louisville! Right off Baxter Ave, there are great food and coffee options to be had in just a few minutes walk. We loved our dinner at Fat Lamb, coffee at Quills, and breakfast at Gralehaus to name a few. Getting to Nulu was an easy 5-min drive, and all of the distilleries were easy to reach by car. Because the place is right on the main road, light sleepers should be aware there can be quite a bit of street noise, especially in summer. The OShea pub across the street is open until 4am. But Shannon did a great job of preparing us with sound machines in the room to help block out the noise. Also of note is there are a lot of stairs in the property, in case you’re less mobile. Overall, this property was great for our group of 7 and I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Michael’s for the derby, it was a great location. He recommended places to go we went to bourbon Bristo and eggs over Frankfort which were fantastic. It was nice to be on 1st floor and close to parking. Place was clean and the electric fireplace was calming. There were places close by to shop. The place is pet friendly but we didn’t bring ours. Thanks

great spot for a quick weekend getaway

Perfect little home away from home in the heart of Louisville. Nettie’s place has everything you need along with convenience of being able to get to anywhere you’d want to go while in town. Annette is the sweetest host who goes above and beyond to communicate and ensure you feel taken care of. If we’re lucky enough to visit the derby again in the future, we would definitely look at staying here. Thank you for a great stay Annette!

We recently stayed at this cozy private retreat, and it was the perfect family getaway. Tucked away from the chaos of everyday life, it offered the peace and privacy we didn’t even realize we needed. The space was clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. From movie nights in the comfy living room to making meals together in the fully equipped kitchen, every moment felt special. The kids had room to play, and we loved enjoying quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and birdsong. It was a truly relaxing and refreshing escape, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
