Turtle Creek: The Verrette House HGTV

JuliaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay. There was so much for our grandkids to do at the house (ages 10 -17). The house is absolutely beautiful and nice and quiet neighborhood. If I’m ever back in Laurel, this would be where I would want to stay.
The cabin features a wooden exterior nestled among tall trees, offering a sense of seclusion. A deck extends from the entrance, leading towards the lake. Soft light reflects off the surrounding foliage, indicating a peaceful and natural setting.

Great little cabin in the woods. My 6 year old loved feeding the fish off the huge back deck!

Incognito #1: Located Steps from the Scotsman

PatriciaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The space was absolutely beautiful and everything was described accurately. I did however, miss the part about being able to hear the train, as the bedroom window faces the tracks - if you're a light sleeper, be prepared to be woken up 4-5 times a night. Eric has another rental next to this one that does not have a track-facing bedroom window, so that one might be better for light sleepers. He was an excellent host and very responsive to our needs.

Honey B Ranch: Spacious Country Setting Laurel MS

DonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had such a wonderful experience at this house! It was spacious, clean, and so unique! We spent hours looking at all the wall hangings, trinkets, and books. You literally feel like you have stepped back in time but in the best way! The library was especially neat, and you could even take a book (or two), which was really sweet! The pool table was also a huge hit. All the essentials were readily available and easily accessible. We enjoyed our stay immensely and definitely recommend it!
A functional kitchen area is equipped with a double sink, a dish rack displaying neatly arranged plates, and a coffee maker. Kitchen essentials are organized on the countertop, complemented by decorative items and a window allowing natural light.

Cozy little house !

CarlisleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Kimberly was a very wonderful and responsive host! Highly recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Great value for the money! Since we are one of the first reviews I thought I’d give some helpful information to those coming to stay at her house so you’d have what you need: The kitchen equipment is minimal, no real silverware or sharp knives. I didn’t look for pots and pans, so I’m not sure what was available there. The office doesn’t have a door, but it is set off on the other side of the living room opposite of the two bedrooms. WiFi is a hotspot - worked great for streaming and business calls The only heat/air conditioner is from a split unit in the living room so keep in mind that you will need to sleep with your doors open to stay comfortable There aren’t blackout curtains in the bedrooms so if you or your kids are used to that, I’d bring your own!! Plenty of parking for 2-3 cars (once the gravel arrives to fill in deep water puddles) Highly recommend this property and Kim

Cabins on the Creek

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Small, quaint little cabin. it was quiet and serene with lots of birds and plenty of privacy. the sound of the water roaring by was pleasant. the inside was nice. there is a satellite dish for tv and a nice working A/C. the micro fridge is small but it helped our entire weekends things. we did bring a cooler for our drinks though. there wasnt many paper towels or other small complimentary kitchenware. we only had a couple issues. my main one was the mosquitoes! so many of them. I felt like I was being swarmed and stayed with a fire for the smoke to clear them out. thankfully we brought out own citronella candle and bug spray. plenty of other bugs but those were the biggest pests. also, we were out of power for 2.5 hours. everything was out of the hosts' hands though. she communicated quickly too.
