Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Jammu and Kashmir

We had a great stay at this apartment from March 19 - 26, 2015. First, the location: It is located on the Islamabad-Murree expressway, about 15-20 minutes out of Islamabad and 10 minutes from Bhara Kahu. We never had time to travel in the other direction to Murree, but it should be a relatively short drive to Murree. The complex is easy to find as it is well signed from the expressway. Note that it is just north of the expressway toll booth, so unless you have a sticker identifying you as a local, there is a 50 Rs. toll every time you go to/from Islamabad. The apartment: this was a very nice apartment, well-decorated. Pictures are accurate and the term "luxurious" is accurate to describe it as well. It had a dishwasher (not common for Pakistan), microwave and all the modern conveniences. Although the washing machine was not accessible, there is a dhobi (person who washes clothes) available and the complex also has cleaning staff who you can call to clean the apartment if need be. The apartment was clean, large and had nice terraces that would be great for relaxing on after a long day. (When we were there, there was construction going on opposite the apartment complex, but it did not bother us.) There is a nice looking golf course immediately beside the complex, that we did not have time to try out. We had a couple of guests visit us for tea during our stay and they were all impressed by the apartment and the complex. FYI, there is also quite a small tuck shop and canteen in the building, as well as an ATM. (For larger grocery trips we went to a cash 'n carry in Bhara Kahu.) Safety: there is plenty of security and we felt safe during our stay. The staff/security were also very willing to assist us as required. Hosts: our hosts were very gracious, accommodating and helpful during our stay. They were very prompt in responding to questions and very helpful in accommodating our requests. In some instances they went above & beyond what would be expected, in order to make sure we had a good trip (e.g. making sure that there was safe water & snacks waiting for my kids on arrival). I have no hesitation in recommending them. In short, this was an A+ apartment that helped make our stay in the Islamabad area for a week, a very enjoyable one.

We had a very comfortable stay and the hosts were really caring and friendly. Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend this accomodation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic Airbnb, and I cannot stop raving about it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that made our stay truly unforgettable. The host, Basharat, is an absolute gem. He goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a remarkable experience. Communication was seamless, and he provided all the information I needed before my arrival. He even gave me some great local tips on where to eat and explore, which made my trip all the more special. The property itself is a true hidden gem. Tucked away in a peaceful and picturesque neighbourhood, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The charming apartment was beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. It felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail in every corner was evident, from the cozy furnishings to the thoughtful amenities provided. Highly recommended!

Mr Ahmed was very responsive and answered all our questions before arrival. We received a warm welcome during arrival. Entire caretaking staff led by Mr Mushtaq helped us with all our needs during our stay! Place was super clean and overall it was a pleasant stay!

The room and the washroom was nice and clean . Only the kitchen facilities was not up to date. Overall it was good.

I think Shahid is the best host out there very responsive great place to stay in gujrat very welcoming guy felt like home i’ll book him if i ever needed.

Clean and prestigious place, Highly recommend

Warm, welcoming and verg comfortable. Its a beautiful location with wonderful views. Quiet. Just what we were looking for. We did a lot of site-seeing, and shangrff was just wonderful to return to and unwind. Lovely sunset views, mornkng views of snow clad mountains. Very warm and hispitable caretakers and the manager yasmin was alwsys avaialble for any information.

Our stay at this property was truly wonderful. The place was peaceful and equipped with all the necessary amenities, making our experience seamless. A special shoutout to Mudassar, the caretaker, for his exceptional hospitality—he went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always being helpful and supportive. We deeply appreciate his efforts and would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a great stay.

ITS A WORTH DEAL FOR STAY AT TANGMURG....

Muhammads place was great a perfect place to have your guests. I had a wedding in place due to which I was unable to keep the house clean for which I paid the cleaning fee from my pocket because I was feeling bad handing it dirty. Unfortunately Muhammad inspight of me paying on a goodnote complained of the house being messy which I clearly mentioned before checking out and personally texted the caretacker to send the cleaner which was not available.

We had a wonderful stay at Resort Reshi Pora Srinagar. The Owner Tahir and Master Chef Amir were courteous and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Cleanliness of the rooms and common areas were spotless. Amir looked for us from bed tea to dinner and we all felt at home. The property is conveniently located near Air port Srinagar. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend (Resort Reshi Pora Srinagar) to others.

We stayed at The Khayabaan for 5 days and it has been a wonderful experience. We were given a very warm welcome by the host Basharat ji both metaphorically and literally. Basharat ji and Rahul welcomed us with some warm kahwa(this was awesome) and snacks. Basharat ji made sure to stay in touch during our entire stay and made sure to give us lots of local recommendations. Rahul was simply outstanding, I was travelling with parents and kids and opted to eat at home and he made sure no one regretted that decision. On our request, he cooked some amazing food each night and that made our stay all the more comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Basharat ji. Overall it was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

Home away from home….

Our stay was truly wonderful — the place was absolutely serene, beautifully maintained, and offered the perfect escape into peace and tranquility. The host was incredibly accommodating, making sure everything was just right for us. A special mention to the property manager, Mustaq, who was exceptionally helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. His attentiveness and professionalism made a real difference. Given the tense, war-like situation in Kashmir during our visit, Mustaq went above and beyond — staying in constant touch and ensuring our safety and well-being until we reached home. His genuine concern and support were deeply appreciated and truly reassuring. Highly recommend this Airbnb for both its beauty and the warmth of its people.
