We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful cabin on the lake in Matagami, Quebec. It was everything we were hoping for and more. It was incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the perfect spot to unplug and recharge for a few days. From the moment we booked, the experience was smooth and welcoming. Isabelle, who helped organize the stay through Airbnb, was great to communicate with, friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was set up perfectly for our arrival. The cabin itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully put together, with stunning views of the lake and easy access to the water. Whether you’re sitting on the porch, enjoying the silence, or exploring the surrounding trails, it truly feels like a slice of paradise tucked away in the north. Pierre, the owner, was amazing, genuinely kind, incredibly accommodating, and full of great recommendations for local things to see and do. You can really tell he cares about the space and wants guests to feel at home.

Super nice accommodation. The photos, although beautiful, don't do justice to the beauty of the landscape. Everything is well thought out in the accommodation, super clean and nice! Also very convenient from Thermacell to Fondussimo. The host responds quickly and is super welcoming. Beautiful beach too!

We were there for a work trip. We really enjoyed the place. Everything was clean and good location. There's a missing detail on the listing page. There are only 2 closed bedrooms. The other two bedrooms are located on a mezzanine and separated by curtains. These are beautiful spaces, but maybe not suitable for all. We would definitely go back.
