A beautiful place! To disconnect from the city, the landscape is beautiful deep in the forest, there was no internet and little light but it is still perfect to spend time with the family! The hosts are very friendly, always attentive and the place is clean, my dogs were happy

We had a lovely time staying in Maria’s beautiful and comfortable home. The house and the surroundings were amazing!!! The house felt so comfortable and inviting, we felt great spending time there. We even got to spend some time with Maria which added so much to our trip to Mascota, we had a lovely time hearing about the area from Maria. We spent 3 nights and mornings taking in the breathtaking sunsets and gorgeous sunrises from the back porch. We feel very fortunate to have been able to enjoy Mascota from the comfort of this beautifully crafted home! The dogs also added to our trip, we enjoyed their company while we strolled around the rangelands around the property. We highly recommend staying at Maria’s, and we would definitely come back for a longer visit some day! Thank you for everything Maria!

The place is perfect for a great vacation! I loved the location as it was 10 seconds from the beach and not too far from the tourist spots in Vallarta! It will definitely be a place I'll come back to!

A very pleasant place, the cabin is on the second floor and has everything you need, we loved the common area.

Excellent service. Juan rescued an iguana from the pool drain for us. Fresh, family-style breakfast daily. Wonderful find. Fabiola took great care of all guests. All staff have been employed there for 3 to 22 years! Definitely recommend this gem.

It's a rustic place that carries its own magic. Celebrate my wedding here, and then we'll stay there. It was perfect. It's a beautiful sugar, we loved everything. I recommend it to people looking for a little tranquility and have love in the countryside.

The house was beautiful, comfortable & spacious. It was a perfect quiet getaway situated within walking distance from the restaurant. The home is exactly as picture. Beds are extremely comfortable!! Showers are beautiful and spacious. Can’t wait to stay there again. Loved and enjoyed my stay!

The property is magnificent, spacious spaces in an environment where, literally, pure oxygen is breathed... the house has everything to generate an excellent family coexistence, in addition to its bedrooms and common areas are perfectly equipped; mention separately deserves the attention of the staff: Pablo attentive to any need, Nancy always smiling and efficient and Lola delighting us with her dishes in the kitchen. The attention of our host is very agile and timely to anticipate any requirement, although it will have to be said that it was not necessary to disturb it.... the paddle court in perfect condition; we are definitely posted to return (and also take advantage of the golf course with the one that borders the house)... the only "negative" detail that I can point out is that the tree casita that is mentioned in the listing at the moment is not in a position to be used and there are signs of a construction that was half-spokening with the beauty of the set

This is the second time that we have stayed in this cabin and it will certainly not be the last, the facilities are spectacular, everything is super nice, it has many beds, everything is super clean, the rooms and bathrooms. It has a lot of garden, in addition the cook and the waiter are super friendly and helpful, and the cook makes really delicious food. I really highly recommend this cabin, it's worth the quality/price. Many thanks to Gabriela the host, who was always attentive and answered my questions quickly.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. It is a short drive or bike ride to town and the architecture is beautiful. My husband and I did the donkey rides and spent a good amount of time at the secret pools his friend led us to. We slept very well every night but if roosters disturb your sleep come equipped with ear plugs!

Excellent Villa. Honestly, the photos don't do it justice, it is beautiful everywhere. Every space is perfectly designed to be cozy. The large green areas and each of the seating areas completely relax you. It is a private and very safe place so it is the ideal place to rest. Raphi was very kind and very attentive from the time of booking. It is a beauty of a place with Lake Chapala at its feet.

Great place with great service and Paty was great and made some fantastic breakfast for us each morning. Close location in between Almatitan and Tequila. Google maps isn’t the best so look for highway marker labeled “48km” then look across the street for the gate with glass security room attached. Definitely will be back!

Although in a secluded area outside the village, It is next to the beach and easy to walk to town. Daniela was a wonderful responsive host. The house was perfect for our family of three (parents and adult daughter) and everything was spotless. As the big house on the compound was not rented, we were able to use the beautiful swimming pool, which was great. The house has also a path in front that leads directly to the beach … also really nice! We were very happy with the HUGE bed - the mattress is very soft but comfortable. The coach for our daughter was also good. One problem for us was the noise of the construction next door - especially the first morning of our arrival. We had chosen a quiet place a little outside town especially to have peace and silence as my husband is a writer and wanted to stay in the house to work. But altogether in the end, the noise level was very loud only for short periods and it was not as bad as we dreaded at first. Altogether, a wonderful place!
