Bronturnor Cottage, Snowdonia

JaneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at Jeston and Shameem’s cottage, there was everything we needed, spacious and comfortable with a lovely kitchen. Thank you! Located in a superb setting with a distant view of Snowdon which was a highlight of mine to climb for the first time! The Ffestiniog Railway passes at the bottom of the garden which was lovely to see going by! We enjoyed meeting Bertie Jeston’s horse who loves a carrot or two! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed visiting Portmeirion, Porthmadog Harlech, Beddgelert and Snowdon in our 4 day stay! Jeston and Shameem were very welcoming and helpful but never intrusive. We can highly recommend and will definitely be doing a return visit! Thanks again, Jane and Nick ☺️

What an amazing place to stay. The house was spotless, comfortable, everything we needed for a weeks stay for 5 adults. Maxine made the place so lovely and cosy. Maxine was so informative of the local area and gave recommendations to where to visit. Would definitely recommend Maxine's place, and would consider returning, so much to do and see. Maxine recommended spring and autumn times are good too for the area. Thanks Maxine for a very comfortable stay at Pay Maes.

We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay at Sue’s place and we absolutely loved it, the surrounding views are absolutely stunning, and the space inside was perfect for us. We used Sue’s place as a base for climbing Snowdon and it was really easy to reach from here. Anyone looking for a peaceful retreat away from it all will not be disappointed here. Would definitely recommend!!

Lovely place both outside and inside and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cottage is bigger than expected and very well equipped. We found everything we needed during our stay. It was nice to see the sheep and lambs in the field nearby. The Ogwen trail is right on the doorstep and provides a beautiful cycle ride to Lake Ogwen - a highlight of our stay. Nigel was very friendly and responsive. He is also very knowledgeable about the locality. If in the area, we would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay! Absolutely faultless accommodation. Unique, modern, comfortable and peaceful! The hot tub was the best part! We had the best stay as a young couple and we used this as a base to explore as much of North Wales as we could! (Highly recommend hiring e-bikes from snowdonia bike hire). We can’t wait to return ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Y Caban with 3 days of glorious weather allowing us to make great use of the log fired bath, fire pit and bbq. There was plenty of wood and charcoal supplied. A stunning view of the valley and mountains. We had a lovely walk into Betws Y Coed and Fairy Glen. The cabin and the bedroom was cosy and clean with a lovely shower. Highly recommended and we hope to return in the future.

Cottage on private farm on mount Snowdon

DavidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
lovely cottage, with everything we could need, very spacious,on a small farm with access to snowdonia and hills to walk around. Jane and farmer John very friendly and welcoming and sorted out any problems even when it was me not being able to work a water heater. Jane happily recommended lots of places to go out to eat, lots of different information leaflets in the cottage for us to have a look through and plan days out. Dog friendly and a lovely size garden that is 100% safe and secure. A lovely welcome pack when we arrived.

Ydlan, Plas Gwyn - 19thC Barn

RosellenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was the break me and my partner needed. The property is on farm land, it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere but it’s 5 minutes from a village and is not far from main motorways so you can easily travel around wales. The place itself was spotless and felt like a home away from home, the hot tub was fun to figure out and once you get in it feels well deserved and perfectly positioned to watch the sunset. You can tell a lot of love and thought has gone into this place. We have come back feeling refreshed and like we have had an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

The Old Stables

AndrejRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Old Stables might be the most interesting house I've ever stayed in. Cozy. And quirky. Kids loved it! It features hidden closets, a hidden bedroom for two dwarfs, a hidden laundry room and even a hidden toilet. We counted at least 78 places one can hide stuff in. There's a vampire house next doors and a cemetery behind it. The living room is spacious, there's a separate corner for reading upstairs and a big table for board games. The beds are comfy. Everything worked and was clean. Jane was very comunicative and helpful. She even lent us a vacuum cleaner for our car when the kids made mess in it. Tall and plus-size fellows, beware though. There's low ceilings, very low arches and corridors one has to literally squeeze through. While we loved the house, it might not be for everyone. Heartily recommended.

The surrounding area is beautiful along with some lovely cafes and restaurants around. Would stay again and would recommend.

Bryn Llys House, doorstep to Snowdonia

LewisRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We booked Carlo’s place for our annual trip for a joint birthday with my 9 friends. He was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. The property is incredibly good value for money. Very spacious and homely. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are plenty of pubs and shops nearby. We did the Llanberis trail up to Snowdon which was a short 15/20 minute drive away. And we also did the large Zipline which was a short 5 minute drive away. It was a fantastic property a great host and a brilliant location. We are hoping to return again.
