Newly constructed cottage, no corners cut here. The exterior was done in a spruce wood siding, while the interior was done in a local spruce shiplap, white washed for a soft appearance. The cottage is clean, decorated with old and new so that it maintains that cozy feel. The fireplace adds a warm ambiance. You have access to hiking trails across the island, where you may come across Foxes, Caribou, Whales or Icebergs depending on the time of year. Don't forget to visit the Newfoundland ponies.

This home has a spectacular view of the harbour! ➡️Very Important! If you are very tall! Ceilings are low! 6Ft high to the beams and 6.5Ft in between the beams. There is a stair walkway going down to the home. Parking is limited & is for one vehicle roadside next to the stair walkway. Knight’s Landing, is a very private retreat only 25 minutes from Twillingate and 45 minutes from the ferry to Fogo Island. There are three separate suites, Upper, Lower & The Loft, all with great ocean views. The suites are non smoking. The Upper suite has a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster oven, dishes and utensils as well as TV, internet and hair dryer. Outside on the patio is an electric barbecue, table and chairs.

We were able to book this quite last minute. It’s not near the water, which was okay for us. It has easy access to town amenities. The bed was comfortable but the sofa bed was not and ended up just using the couch. Everything else was fine with the unit. It was cute, very clean and has all the kitchen stuff you would need. Bathroom facilities were good and although we didn’t need it, there was a laundry room available to use.

Holly is an amazing host and extremely helpful especially in connecting us to an amazing private open-boat tour of the icebergs and islands. The food at the Storehouse was of great quality and beautiful presentation. The hiking trails were phenomenal - made it to the fourth corner of the world - thank you flat earth society! I would highly recommend the partridgeberry cream and partridgeberry jam ice cream at Growlers! My son was a huge fan of Carmel flavour! The tour of the Fogo Island Inn was interesting and fun - such a beautiful place.

This place was really good. It was very clean, comfortable, in a good location and felt like home. The house is very large and well supplied. The bathroom is extra large and the shower was great. The beds are comfortable. Having to use bottled water was not a problem. We would highly recommend this home away from home.
