Vacation rentals in Isla Plata

The pictures truly reflect reality of this unit and 360 Splendor. We went at the start of June and had a wonderful time. The unit is on the 1st floor, 20 steps away from the infinity pool with an amazing view of Flamingo Beach. The balcony of the unit also has water view (of the bay behind). There is a nice gym, 2 hot tubs, and an open breakfast area, all on the top floor where you get the full 360 view which is amazing during a sunny morning. Breakfast costs $15 and you need to let them know the evening before. The unit itself is on the small side but sufficient for a family of 3 or 4 and has everything that you need to cook a meal. Getting to 360 Splendor may be a little challenging on foot if you have any physical issues. It is a fairly steep 0.5mi hill. But they have a few golf carts available to take you up and down. I am about to write 2 other 1* and 2* AirBnb reviews following our vacation, so I'm not writing reviews for the sake of it. But we really enjoyed this place!

This house was the perfect space for our girls trip. We each had our own private bedroom and bathroom. The pool was the highlight for us. We hung out there but also had a private chef and massages. Everything was fantastic! I would suggest you rent the buggy. It'll save you in taxi and Uber costs.

We LOVED Casa Besito! The condo is clean, nicely decorated, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. Ray was extremely helpful with any questions we had. We also appreciated that he sent us a list of local recommendations. We tried many of them and loved them all. The condo is within walking distance to numerous restaurants, but having a rental car was helpful to explore places outside of the Flamingo Marina area. We were able to book catamaran snorkeling tour that left right out of the marina. It truly was the perfect location! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

This place is a gem! The location is perfect for exploring the area, the house is stylish and comfortable, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it!

Breathtaking! We were looking for a very special private, peaceful place & experience adventure for our Honeymoon, this was everything! We wanted to be amongst locals if anyone, not 'touristy' areas but you can reach those within about an hour. We chose to explore the gorgeous coves in the area, hiked a trail at Playa Nombre de Jesus & reached top of a huge rock you can see from the home. Rarely anyone else on these coves, pretty much had them all to ourselves. Our favorite was Playa Minas. Also toured La Leona waterfall. We met very wonderful & kind locals, one even had a drink stand setup at Mina's and makes the best Pina Coladas, ask for Javier! Make sure to eat at Big Mama's just down the road from the home which is how we found her. She's so kind & an amazing Caribbean cook, will not disappoint! Home great location, clean, comfortable, good WiFi & had everything expected/needed. Francisco is amazing, quick responses, takes great care of home, pool/yard. Can't wait to go back?

My family of 5 had an amazing time here! Our three boys (16, 13, and 8) loved the house, the pool, and the great vibe here. The house and surroundings are even better than the pictures, which is saying something since the pictures made it look like paradise. Monica was extremely responsive—more so than any host I’ve ever dealt with previously. They have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The area is gorgeous and Playa Grande is a cute town with great restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

The small apartment was perfect for 2 people. The complex/restort around the apartment was a bit of a ghost town though. The pool was not appealing, the pool chairs were hard wood, and the bar was never open. (Could be the off season) The view from the pool area was amazing and there’s a path to a small semi-private beach that has incredible sunrises. There is a several great restaurants within walking distance and playa flamingo beach of course just down the road.
