You’ll be within walking distance to kayak/tubing rentals, so you can head straight from the cabin to the water. Nearby trail entrances for UTV and snowmobile rides. The cabin features a spacious yard, two fire pits for evening gatherings, and a fully remodeled kitchen.

Papa's place is a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that over looks Tawas Lake, great for fishing, kayaking & bird watching. The cabin features a fully stocked kitchen, open living space with a 50" smart TV and wood stove for those cool spring & fall nights. The quaint town of East Tawas is only minutes away that offers wonderful shops & restaurants. Tawas beach (Lake Huron) is less than 2 miles away. Come for a night or stay the week on Michigan’s sunrise side.

The Cabin

Only weekly, Friday to Friday rentals in July and August. While we lovingly refer to our home up north as "The Cabin" it is far from just a cabin. Cottage on the outside, cabin on the inside, this home has it all! LAKE, ORV trails, a stunning home, and best of all you can bring your fur babies (dogs only - $100 per stay). Ramp to front porch for more accessibility. Pontoon boat available to rent ($650/week).

Welcome to Barefoot Beach Resort! Cabin 6 is a cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin just steps from Lake Huron. Enjoy water views from the kitchen and a sliding glass door facing the lake. Inside, you’ll find wood-paneled charm, a newly renovated bathroom, fresh paint, and comfy new mattresses. It’s quiet, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Note: Pet fee is not included in the total price.
