Much is still in its original condition, such as the historic room with walnut buffet, old parquet and tiled stove. It is heated with central heating. All rooms are wood-paneled. The floors can creak when entering - it's just part of the old wooden house. Here you can find rest and still be close to great excursion possibilities. Our cozy 2-room apartment in Grindelwald is just a 15-minute walk from the village center. Still, the surroundings are quiet. We live on one side of our chalet. The other side is a complete apartment in itself. On the lower floor are the kitchen, living room with exit to the garden and a toilet. A spiral staircase leads to the 1st floor with shower, bedroom with box spring bed, sink and a small balcony overlooking the Eiger.

The property is centrally located, just an 8-minute walk from Interlaken Ost train station and a 5-minute walk from the Höhenmatte and the view of the Jungfrau. The house was built in 1911 and is a typical old listed Swiss house. The kitchen is large and equipped with everything. From every window there is a beautiful view into the garden. The mountains are also visible! There is no TV or living room!
