Bright, cozy one-room studio on the ground floor of a two-family house with a separate entrance in a very quiet and sunny location. The studio offers a unique panoramic view of the fascinating Bernese Alps. The studio features two single beds (which can be pushed together to form a double bed). The Chalet is in a quiet area yet very close to the Terminal (8 mins walk or bus) and village center (local bus takes you there in 4 mins). The apartment has an indoor fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen. There is 1 bathroom with bath tub/shower & toilet and an additional small bathroom with a toilet. Free washing machine and tumbler are located in the basement level.

Our cozy 2-room apartment in Grindelwald is just a 15-minute walk from the village center. Still, the surroundings are quiet. We live on one side of our chalet. The other side is a complete apartment in itself. On the lower floor are the kitchen, living room with exit to the garden and a toilet. A spiral staircase leads to the 1st floor with shower, bedroom with box spring bed, sink and a small balcony overlooking the Eiger.

The house was built in 1911 and is a typical old listed Swiss house. The kitchen is large and equipped with everything. From every window there is a beautiful view into the garden. The mountains are also visible! There is no TV or living room!

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer.
