Access to the high mountains Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cabin is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operation, and cafe and mountain hotel just nearby.

Our cabin was renovated and extended in the fall of 2022, and we can warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to a loft/living room with a double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washing machine/dryer and well equipped kitchen. Store vindusflater gir mye lys og slipper naturen inn. Ålhytta har høstet mye oppmerksomhet for sitt konsept og gode arkitektur og er en moderne klassiker som er verdt å oppleve. Hytta varmes opp før ankomst. Strøm til normalt bruk er inkludert. Det er innlagt bredbånd. Det kan avtales at leietaker vasker ut selv.

The house is located in Garmo in the middle of Jotunheimen. Short distance to both the mountains, the national park village Lom and the village Vågåmo.
