"Friends at Bingil" Mission Beach, rainforest view

RachelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a wonderful two months stay at Gemma and Karen’s place. It was a home from home while we looked for a permanent home and we had everything we needed. The house was well set up with everything we needed for a long term stay and a couple of issues we had were dealt with quickly by our amazing hosts. A bbq was quickly replaced when the burners went faulty and our hosts were great at checking up with us to see how we were. After a two month stay and social interactions with our hosts at the local Bingal Bay cafe (which is a great community hub) we consider the hosts as good friends too! The house is just 500m from one of the most glorious beaches in the area and we had the most relaxing time enjoying a home that we considered our home for the stay. Thank you Karen and Gemma for making our stay as relaxing as possible. We hope to see the family around the Mission Beach area now we have decided to stay here rather than head to a bigger city. Best wishes Joe & Rachel

Riverfront acreage, rich wildlife -Johnstone Bend

BrianaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Was a super lovely stay! Yu was very friendly and welcoming. Gorgeous remote area, didn’t see platypus but did spot 3 tree kangaroos - even before night. Also saw several possums at night. The place was very tidy and a cute set up, however it didn’t have that “squeaky clean” feel. I would recommend eating out for dinner as the kitchen amenities are limited (e.g. only bathroom sink available for washing dishes), Yu provided plenty of information for restaurants near by. Excellent place for a one or two night stop over as you’re exploring Atherton tablelands. Still very much worth the money and a nice stay overall, we would come back again :)

A serene beach stretches along the coastline, lined with palm trees casting elongated shadows on the warm sand. The turquoise waters meet the shoreline gently, while soft clouds add a hint of color to the sky as the sun sets in the background.

Sharon’s place was absolutely delightful! The home was not only beautiful and well kept but also incredibly cozy. Sharon was kind and friendly, which made the whole experience feel extra special. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to others without hesitation.

The Ants Nest is a beautiful old cottage that felt homely as soon as you walked through the door. Perfect for family with the beach located directly in front of the property and the lovely foreshore park and playground viewing distance from the front veranda. Highly recommend a stay there

Boutique Bungalows, King bed/ Wildlife Sanctuary.

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We enjoyed two very relaxed days whilst staying at Boutique Bungalows. The bungalow was exceptionally clean & we were left a welcome basket of various fruits ,a selection of snacks , breakfast cereals, milk , orange juice and yoghurts ( a lovely surprise) Enjoyed a swim under the canopy of rainforest trees, watching butterflys & listening to the birds. A really peaceful spot to stay in Mission beach.
