Adil was the perfect host. Such a kind and welcoming man. He accepted our booking at very short notice and we were very grateful for the refuge, after coming over the Tiz and Test mountain pass from Taradante. The area has been through so much devastation since the earthquake and Adil humbly told us about his family's experience since then. Adil's father cooked us the most delicious tajine we've had and could not do enough for us. We were made extremely welcome and comfortable in his home for the night. It was a very real and eye opening experience of the reality of this region. I thoroughly recommend Adil's hospitality if you enjoy a real experience of this area since the earthquake.

We had a great and restful stay. Abdul and his family were extremely friendly and accommodating. The surroundings are very quiet and beautiful. You can take a nice walk to a nearby village or drive to Assais to shop /have a coffee. But you can also stay on site and order delicious food from Chef Abdul.
