There are not enough words to describe how beautiful, scenic, and quiet this place was. John was extremely communicative and responded quickly to any questions I had. The directions and instructions were helpful and clear. The home is tucked away from the center of town which made it so relaxing. The home has a woodsy modern home feel to it that is just incredible. The decor and furniture was comfortable and stylish. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing. It felt like you were in the middle of the woods. The home has everything you could possibly need when visiting Idyllwild. I had the perfect getaway here.

The cabin has all the amenities, but it was such a calming environment, that just sitting together for our anniversary, listening to the sounds of the forest and feeling the pleasant breeze was enough. Of course we used the hot tub under the stars and watched a bit of Stanley Tucci's show about Italy on Hulu during breakfast, but the cabin and it's location are the best thing happening. Going to dinner in town was about 5 minutes in the car, but we liked the cabin so much, we ate and returned to spend more time together, in a place so very different from our home in San Diego. We'll have to stay longer next time. Thanks David!

Our stay was perfect! The place had everything we needed—plenty of towels, comfy beds, and all the essentials. The host was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions. Overall, a fantastic place to stay!

Gorgeous views and surroundings. Kitchen is well stocked with high quality cooking supplies/pots/pans. Using the hot tub with the beautiful view was a dream. Waking up in the middle of the forest with birds singing was lovely. The hosts were wonderful - very responsive and kind.

This is our 3rd or 4th time here- we just love this Airbnb, truly our favorite! Our doodles have such a big enclosed yard to play- with trees and lots of wildlife all around us. And the prefect view of the Tahquitz rock too! I don’t even look for other Airbnbs anymore in Idyllwild- I just message Ariya and book☺️. The home is always clean with everything we need for cooking and relaxing. I always appreciate the assorted teas from their store as well. This time, we made sure we took advantage of the hot tub after a hike and a run. The bathrobes are always appreciated and even helpful when it got a little chilly at night. Ernie Maxwell trail is just over a mile from the house and my big dog and I hiked/ran there twice- such a beautiful place to take your dog(s). Ariya and Marc are such perfect hosts- always communicating and ensuring we are enjoying our stay. I also appreciated it when Ariya messaged me that I could check in early. Thanks again Ariya! The place was stunningly beautiful. Quiet and peaceful but not too far from town . All the amenities you could want and more . Tastefully decorated and just an overall great place to spend a weekend .

We had a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Well appointed cabin. Very nice to have a television in each room and also a wireless sound system. Looking up at the stars from the hot tub was also a major plus!

This was hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. In fact, staying here in this beautiful home and amazing location, it has influenced my boyfriend and I to start our journey with owning an Airbnb! I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the squirrels to the hikes, the food!!! Love it, if you have the chance, go!! We can’t wait to visit again 🥹💕

A Fantastic place to stay! The photos match the house. Place is very nice and quiet. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed for a cozy stay. Jaimy was very helpful and communicated really well with us throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend at Linda’s cabin. The space was cozy, beautifully and thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We traveled as a multi-generational family, including our youngest at just six months old. Linda went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. She kindly provided a spotless pack ’n play and a humidifier, and even offered us an early check-in to help us avoid Friday LA traffic—a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot. Her attention to detail and personal touches made our stay feel truly special, especially over Mother’s Day weekend. That kind of hospitality is rare on Airbnb these days and was deeply appreciated. Even our pup felt well cared for and right at home! We highly recommend Linda’s cabin and hope to return soon!

We had a delightful stay with our two dogs. The house and amenities were very nice. The yard was big and our dogs loved running around in it. It was easy drive to town and to hiking spots. Overall perfect spot for a weekend getaway!

One of our favorite Airbnb’s we have stayed at! It was the perfect size with impeccable decor and taste. The view was phenomenal and the outdoor deck furniture was so comfortable! It was quiet and peaceful. We will book here again.

Everything was as pictured and described. Beautiful, cozy cabin. Lovely décor and very well decorated. Has a great front deck that was great for soaking up the sun in the late morning/early afternoon and a wonderful, picturesque back patio. Cabin is surrounded by trees so extremely serene and peaceful. Great location - 5 minute drive to town. Easy to find and just off the main road. Marla was super friendly, helpful. and responsive (most of the time she responded immediately and if she was unable to do so then it was within 15-20 minutes). Would definitely stay here again. Vanessa and John's cabin in Idyllwild is an amazing getaway. The views are spectacular. Our first night it was raining which created the conditions for one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. My seven year old daughter referred to it as the house above the clouds. The place was well stocked, everything was well organized and clear. Place was spotless and town was just a short drive away. The only thing I will say is that it is right next to the road which does get some traffic, so not as isolated as it appears in the photos. But that is well worth the stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic getaway in the mountains, next to a babbling brook, with everything you could want. Just a quick trip down to the village but far enough away that it was super quiet. I'd been dreaming of an A frame with giant windows and a patio overlooking the trees and this was exactly it. That, plus the bonus of a cozy place to watch movies and hang out inside. It was my first trip to Idyllwild and I hope to come back again to stay here.

Marisa and her team are very attentive to detail, conscientious, and offer a lovely getaway if you are in need of some R&R. Very convenient to the town of Idyllwild, and all the great nature attractions in the area.

We loved our stay at Elena’s place. It was so quaint and cozy. Country modern which is my favorite. Super clean and spot on. Very echo friendly. They gave us a welcome card and yummy chocolates, that was very sweet of them. They thought of everything and had everything you would need like your own home. The whole stay was memorable and relaxing. Even my 2 year old son enjoyed it. I would definitely stay there again and again in the future.

We had an awesome weekend. The cabin was very clean and it was very peaceful. It was wonderful to find a place that had a fenced in yard for the pups to run around. We cooked most meals there and the kitchen was well equipped. Thank you for sharing!

We had a fantastic time at Paul’s lighthouse! The views were amazing from all rooms and especially the deck. The kitchen was completely stocked with literally any cookware you would need. Everything was so clean and cute.. my family and pups can’t wait to go back!

Cozy, quiet cabin about a 5 minute drive away from downtown Idyllwild. Spacious living room and great amenities. We will definitely be back!

A darling, quaint & cozy get away! Close to town, which we loved. It is decorated adorably, and had some fun features for our kids like a hammock, swings, hot tub, and lots of games. We loved our stay, and hope to book again!
