House vacation rentals in Idar-Oberstein

We spent a few days at this wonderful place last week, and it was truly a dream. We were looking for peace and rest, and we found exactly that—and so much more. The atmosphere is calm and soothing, the surroundings are beautiful, and the space itself is incredibly comfortable and cozy. The view and the nature around us felt like a dream come true. We felt deeply connected to the environment, and even though the pictures are beautiful, they simply can’t capture the feeling of actually being there. It’s something you have to experience for yourself. The hosts were absolutely lovely—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth and stress-free, which made everything even more enjoyable. We’re extremely happy with our stay and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended if you need to recharge in a peaceful, welcoming environment!

Contact and reception were very friendly. Suitable for large families. Children and adolescents were able to keep themselves busy very well with the available toys and equipment, such as pool table, kicker, table tennis in the building. Great covered barbecue and fireplace available. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Backesgarten.

Nici and Frank's house is really worth a stay. We spent an extended weekend here with 3 families (one child each) and were super satisfied. The house is perfectly furnished and above all the kitchen, living and dining area are sensational and invite you to linger. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good, so we could not use the great terrace and the beautiful garden. The hosts are super friendly and help quickly if there is a question. If we find ourselves back in the area, we will certainly stay here again.

The apartment is very spacious, even in the garden there is a lot of space. Everything is very picturesque and the hosts were super friendly. :)

A great accommodation with a great garden and extremely many opportunities to keep busy for all ages. Michelle and Bernd know what it takes to make a fun getaway! Although the photos and description did not show that the accommodation is a semi-detached house, this is irrelevant in the relaxed neighborhood. The opportunity to provide for the forgotten on a donation basis is fantastic. The overall trust in the guests is also exceptional! Many thanks!

Philippe is a superhost. The house is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything. It feels like you're home. The garden is also beautifully landscaped. For me personally the most beautiful air bnb I have stayed in. Philippe explained everything well and responded extremely quickly to our messages. The area is very nice. Top location with a nice terrace. Very good amenities. The landlords live in the basement. Ideal for a family with 2 children. However, since the bedroom upstairs is completely open and has no ventilation, the house is not optimal for 2 couples.

Our best Airbnb to date! From booking through to departure we give it 5 *. Beautifully spacious, quiet and private house. Spotlessly clean, superbly equipped kitchen (inc a tea pot for the Brit traveller!),very comfortable large beds, excellent shower and plenty of towels.Super air filtration keeping the house cool in exceptional temps. Lots of cleaning products available. We loved the quiet private garden (at booking we thought it was shared with owners but no it’s all yours) with plenty of sunny and shady spaces.The chickens did not disturb us and we loved collecting the fresh eggs! Thanks too for the wine in the fridge (from the winery 5 min walk away- there is another one closer!) Close to bus service into Bingen. Lots of parking in the street and also on site. Owner very helpful pre arrival and throughout our stay, even allowing us an early check in. Lovely to be met in person. Without hesitation we would stay here again- the pictures simply do not do it justice. Book it now!

We were 6 people in the beautiful house! Very tastefully decorated and superbly equipped! Meanwhile, the vineyard around the house is a new settlement, but everything is very nicely laid out! We had our old dog with us … even bowls were ready! 😊 Great Thank you 👍

We had a very nice stay. The accommodation, an old half-timbered house, was really lovingly restored and we felt right at home. The air conditioning was really great in the warm weather! The place was also beautiful and the residents super friendly. Everything went smoothly, thank you :)

We spent an extended family weekend here (3 households). The house is idyllic and quiet and you can park right by the house. After the uncomplicated check-in, we felt comfortable from the first minute. We lacked nothing – especially the well-equipped kitchen, we liked it very much, everything you could need was really available here. There is plenty to discover and do in and around the house, so you can have a very good time here, even if the weather does not cooperate. The ping-pong table and hot tub were a special highlight for us. The contact with Conny and Micha in advance and during our stay was always very quick and pleasant. Any questions were answered quickly – we felt well taken care of and very welcome. Overall it was perfect, we had a great time and would be happy to come back!

Our stay at the Murmelhütte was simply fantastic and exceeded all our expectations! The house is actually even nicer than the pictures on Airbnb. The house is in an absolutely quiet environment, perfect for switching off and relaxing. Privacy is excellent – you immediately feel comfortable and undisturbed. The view is wonderful and invites you to start the day with a coffee on the terrace or in the garden or to enjoy the sunset in peace. The furnishings as a whole are thoughtfully and lovingly designed. There is everything you need for a relaxing stay. There are also many beautiful excursion destinations and attractions in the area, that are easily accessible and provide variety – whether nature, culture or small regional discoveries. Thank you for this great accommodation. If you are looking for peace, comfort and nature, this is the place to be.

"Feeling good in the vineyards," the title is absolutely deserved, because you can't feel any better, this house inspires. Everything fits on and in the house, nothing is missing and we spent wonderful days for six in bright weather. Everything was thought of and the wine tasted so good that a few bottles had to be taken home. Another booking is quite likely, six-fold recommendation guaranteed.

There were 4 of us (2 couples) at Chalet Mosel and we had a great weekend there. Unfortunately, there was still a lot of restaurants and attractions in the area in mid-March, but there was still plenty of what we could do and the well-equipped kitchen left nothing to be desired for self-catering.

A great place, very clean, very nice and cozy furnishings. Large and bright. Great beds, large kitchen and living room, beautiful garden. Very friendly and fast communication with Petra and Konstantin.

Great place for families. There is an attic full of toys and a car port with several bikes for kids. Modern home that is spacious and comfortable. Super close to playground and grocery store. Host is fantastic!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming getaway! It's really peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature. The best part was the roof terrace where we enjoyed a majestic view every morning and evening. We enjoyed the privacy and felt very relaxed. I highly recommend this place for a great escape.

3 couples with 2 children. The stay was just great. A lot of space, storage space for all wishes, you were quickly shopping from the apartment/house, on the Moselle or simply central for various excursion destinations. Which are also listed as tips in the folder. Great playground nearby. Contact was always available, answers always came quickly even in the days on site when there were questions. We can only recommend it

The stay at the Winzereck was fantastic! The house is spacious and comfortably furnished, stylishly modernized. Everything you need is on site: towels for the bathroom and kitchen, tabs for the dishwasher, coffee pods for the coffee machine, the kitchen is excellently equipped overall. The beds are very cozy and we highly recommend the accommodation.
