Vacation rentals with a kayak in Iberian Peninsula

La maison est spacieuse , décorée et aménagée avec goût, propre. La cuisine dispose de tout le nécessaire. Et niveau activités à disposition dans le logement : VTT, kayak, paddle, sauna, baby foot, wii... Le tout à 20m du lac... Rien à redire ! Excellent séjour !

Je recommande Alain et Dédée qui sont accueillants, sympathiques et charmants. Leur gîte est parfait.

Fab place. We loved the use of the kayaks, and the pool was great. Very comfy beds. Kitchen was very well equipped. Only a 6 mins drive to a hypermarket and very quiet roads . Tony was very helpful and friendly. We would come again. Thoroughly recommend.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in dem schönen Haus verbracht. Maria war äußerst freundlich und immer erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.

Nous avons loué ce gîte pour 2 nuits à l occasion d un mariage célèbré aux caves de Rabastens c était à 10 minutes trop pratique .Très joli gîte décoré avec goût nous avons beaucoup aimé ,très propre et fonctionnel il ne manquait rien .Nous étions 5 adultes et nous avons tous trouvé notre petite place l espace était suffisant.Un cadre magnifique au calme je recommande à 100% niveau qualité prix.C est Pierre qui nous a accueilli à notre arrivée ,quelqu un de très agréable et réactif .

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

The charming Kalymnos home was perfect, warm and welcoming. I got the sense the house has been in the family for several generations where much fun was had. The king sized bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me! We felt very at home cooking and eating in the dining room that opens to a beautiful garden with a pool under the deck. It was too chilly for us to swim, but we enjoyed looking at the pool. We used the available bikes to ride a trail next to the Arcachon Bay and visited the Antique Market which was full of cool antiques. In the evenings we enjoyed the short walk from the house to the bay to watch the sunsets. We wanted to experience a community near the Arcachon Bay where French locals live and play. Isabelle’s home gave us that experience. Merci!

What a find! We have had the best few days staying in the most peaceful but accessible location. The kids absolutely loved the pool, this ment we could relax and not have to constantly watch the them as it was so well set up. The Villa is all you need for a home from home feel, so clean and well maintained. Only a short distance from a lovely seaside town for dinners out and the other direction the busy town if your looking for more amenities. The beautiful mountain town of Mijas is also a short drive, well worth a visit. Thanks Abe we had a wonderful stay and look forward to seeing you in the future.

Nous avons passé un délicieux séjour chez Pascale. Le logement correspondait parfaitement à la description et l’accueil était très chaleureux. Le logement est décoré avec beaucoup de goût et l’environnement très calme. La région est magnifique et offre un formidable potentiel de visites. Chez Pascale nous avons profité du bain nordique très agréable. Et notre hôte avait toujours de charmantes attentions !

holiday experience was great from start to finish very helpful hosts and set in a very scenic area which was close to the major attractions in the area whether you wanted to explore grottos or chateaus / castles or scenic towns all were within easy reach. welcomed and shown around the property and shown and explained all we needed to know , the use of bikes - bike path right next to property close to villages of les Eyzies and le Bugue 2 person kayak right next to river Vezere - very relaxing paddle on the river not to be missed out. pool area was great and heated with lovely gardens and lots of areas to sit with your morning coffee badminton net and rackets supplied your own barbecue area and every utensil for barbecue or kitchen was supplied first experience with air bnb and the hosts went above and beyond what we expected very pleased many thanks for having us David & Caroline

This is a great space in a real out-of-the-way part of Portugal. Tired of big city tourism? Try this property. Tiny villages dot the hills and you get an old world sense of Portugal here. The pool is the real star of the property here (as are Eric's three dogs, one of which lounged with us each morning) as it overlooks he view of the river. We did use the kayaks as well. It is hard to get to them down a very steep hill with ladders and a bit of minor repelling. Not for those with a bad knee or hip. Which gets me to, accessing the apartments, particularly the lower unit, is tricky. Steep, slanting and uneven steps that can be a little slippery. Perhaps not for the elderly. Hint for improvement would be to upgrade the furnishings and kitchenware. The knives couldn't cut an orange.

Lovely place to stay ,off the beaten track,but no trouble to get there,very clean ,lovely pool,private,la Nora’s bars and cafes within walking distance,we had a very relaxing week.

We loved our stay so much that we didn’t use our car to go anywhere. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, the river and walking to the village. We so enjoyed the peace and quiet and the sound of the river and we wish we could have stayed for longer. Thank you Júlio and Patricia for being such thoughtful and welcoming hosts.

​We had a 5-day stay at this rustic cottage in nature. If you're looking for a retreat surrounded by birdsong and greenery, this is the perfect spot. It truly feels like an escape into nature. That said, a car is needed, as the nearest town is a drive away and the last approx. 2 km of road is not smooth. The access to the cottage from the road might not be suitable for everyone—there are steep, winding stairs & uneven surfaces, so it’s something to consider for guests with limited mobility. Jens & Sarah were ​very good hosts—responsive, thoughtful, and helpful throughout our stay. The Wi-Fi was excellent, making it a great option for remote workers, though the lighting indoors is ​ somewhat dim, so plan accordingly if you need a well-lit space to work. Being immersed in nature also means you may encounter insects or mosquitoes, so come prepared—but that’s part of the experience in such a beautifully natural setting. All in all, a peaceful and authentic getaway in nature.

La casa tenía unas vistas increíbles, nos encantó la zona, hay para hacer bastantes actividades alrededor o simplemente quedarte en la casa disfrutando de la compañía y piscina. Ivan genial, súper amable, atento y flexible. Repetiremos!!

A Casa da Flor é um espaço maravilhoso, rodeado por natureza, jardim, tranquilo e com uma vista linda de cortar a respiração sobre o Rio Tâmega, onde se pode relaxar verdadeiramente, bem como caminhar, nadar na piscina ou praticar SUP no rio com toda a segurança. Há imensos recantos confortáveis onde podemos descontrair a contemplar o Rio, a ler, a descansar. O contacto com a Helena foi sempre muito fácil e responsivo. A casa tem o conforto, higiene e tudo o que uma família precisa para estar bem. É um sítio óptimo para se estar com crianças. As visitas do Bruno (um dos cães da casa) fez as delícias dos meus filhos. Recomendo e vou voltar!

La estancia en la cabaña de Luis ha sido fantástica! Un paraje natural espectacular en el que se encuentra situada y el que ha creado el anfitrión dentro de la finca, con un río artificial junto a la cabaña, un montón de árboles de diferentes especies, y vegetación abundante. Te hace sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Además, dispones de una experiencia muy especial con una hoguera nocturna (que él mismo enciende), de hacer una “ruta” por la marisma en Kayak (él te ayuda desde la propia finca, aunque sea con peques, como en nuestro caso), o de ir a una calita impresionante desde la misma cabaña , por un camino con mucho encanto, en apenas 10 minutos a pie. Dispones de diferentes espacios para descansar, comer, jugar, tomar el sol, cocinar, etc, e incluye alguna sorpresilla más… La cabaña dispone de todo lo necesario de verdad, tanto en productos de aseo como de cocina. Una estancia diferente a todas, muy completa y llena de actividades y sorpresas.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Anthony. Beaucoup d'activités proposées. Le Logement et l'environnement sont super reposants et apaisants. Les hôtes sont discrets, disponibles et font tout pour que les voyageurs se sentent bien. Nous recommandons ce logement 😉

Agradecer a Eduardo y a Ana como tienen el alojamiento, tanto la zona exterior como el interior de la cabaña. Es muy acogedora y calentita. Y ellos son muy amables, facilitando mapas de la zona y aconsejando que ver y que hacer. Volveremos a repetir

Das Haus ist mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet und liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Der Ausblick vom Haus auf den Fluss und die Dünen ist einfach wunderschön. Zu beachten gilt, dass das Schlafzimmer keine Aussenstoren hat und man etwas kreativ sein muss, wenn man nicht mit dem Krähen des Hahnes aufstehen möchte ;-) Obwohl wir Telma nicht persönlich getroffen haben, war die Kommunikation mit ihr sehr freundlich und unkompliziert und Check-In, sowie Check-Out funktionierten reibungslos.

Fijn huisje in de natuur op ruime afstand van het hoofdverblijf van de host. Geen luxe huisje maar echt basic. Bevat alles wat je nodig hebt. Heerlijk rustig. Eigen oprit en ingang. Veel privacy. Afstand naar zee 20 minuten. Het zwembad in de tuin was heerlijk. Gastvrouw was zeer behulpzaam maar niet bemoeizuchtig. We hebben het heerlijk gehad en komen graag nog een keer weer terug!

We chose this place for a little escape by the end of our busy season and to celebrate a birthday. We wanted a hut, peace and nature. We got it here. The hut served our purposes for the short stay with all the amenities you need, including heating. The views were breathtaking and the location is out of this world. During the day (a week day) one could only hear birds and the nighttime is one of the most peaceful you can get. Of the sky is clear, it's perfect to watch shooting stars. Would be back at anytime for a longer term.
