House vacation rentals in Iberian Peninsula

First things first, yes, there should have been more disclosure about the 6 - 8 minuet drive on the dirt road/goat path, but as has been said in several previous reviews, the drive is more than worth the beauty and solitude that you'll find once there. The home is every bit as beautiful as the pictures, and there is no way to convey how wonderful the view down to the town of Soller is. It is perfectly equipped for two people to stay very comfortably, with a kitchen that is thoughtfully stocked with everything you'll need to prepare meals. Carolina provided us with a list of provisions for our arrival from an incredible local market. Carolina's place is a little slice of heaven and I feel privileged to have been able to spend a few days there. I'd recommend it unconditionally, and we'll be back just a soon as we can.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in de villa. We mochten onze koffers al wat eerder achterlaten wat voor ons erg prettig was. We hebben contact gehad met de vader van Tito en hij was heel aardig. De kamers waren schoon en de bedden ook. In de badkamer kwamen we alleen nog haren tegen van onze voorgangers en in de keuken was het ook niet helemaal schoon. In de tuin was het ook nogal een rommeltje. Dat was dus wel jammer. Ondanks dat hebben we een prettig verblijf gehad.

We cannot say enough about how enjoyable, peaceful, and satisfying our stay was in Fontelo at Marina’s house! The house feels spacious and open, with everything you need to be right at home. The views are incredible and the pool and outdoor spaces are functional and enjoyable. I wish I could go back and have another cup of coffee outside, watching the sun rise over the vineyard hills. A 15-minute drive to the Douro River makes tasting the local wines and Port very accessible — just make sure to check the route before following your GPS or you may end up on a dirt farm road :-) Marina is friendly and responsive, always willing to help with questions or suggestions for where to shop and eat. We are already looking forward to our return!

A gem of a place to stay! Bárbara was an amazing host. The fresh bread each morning was a yummy bonus!

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

Kristin and the place were amazing! Very responsive and super helpful, flexible check in / out was great. House and pool setup is perfect to relax, nice and quite area and beautiful views from the terrace. 10/10!

We have just spent three wonderful days at this outstanding villa. It’s just stunning the house is more than you could wish for. Pictures do not do it justice and the outside kitchen and pool area are s amazing. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough ❤️❤️we will be back

The house was perfect, it was very clean, comfortable and homely. Clare was a perfect host she was very informative and responded immediately to all of our requests. We only stayed for 2 days but enjoyed a very relaxed and enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend.

Gustavo’s place is amazing, and Gustavo is the best host. He was extremely responsive and made sure our stay was comfortable. He made numerous helpful recommendations, and really made our time in Madrid enjoyable. His place is pristine and beautiful, & we will definitely be staying here the next time we’re in town! Huset levede fuldt ud op til billederne. Beliggenheden er helt fantastisk, fredelig og med uforlignelig udsigt til Douro, og sejladsen på floden og det gamle tog, der kører på modsatte bred. Servicen fra Gabriella og Sephi var helt enestående, vi blev guidet op ad den stejle vej til huset første gang af Gabriella. Fin service, når man bor i et fladt land som Danmark. Og Sephi forklarede os om sin vingård fra terrassen med den allerbedste udsigt til Douro. Vi satte meget pris på begge værters hjælpsomhed.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Mehdi est très gentille. Le gîte est magnifique et avec tout le nécessaire à disposition. La décoration est très soignée. Mehdi prend soin de ses hôtes avec de jolies attentions et de bons conseils (petite épicerie, livre explicatif du gîte et de ce qui a à faire aux alentours,...)

Es war einfach eine wundervolle Zeit in dieser tollen Unterkunft. Der Kontakt war perfekt und man hat sich dort direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt! Es hat an nichts gefehlt und man hatte einfach seine Ruhe. Man ist für sich, es gibt nur noch ein weiteres Haus nebenan. Der Naturpool war das absolute Highlight🥰 Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Beautiful place in special location. The home is sparkling clean and the hosts were incredibly responsive, providing many local recommendations and guidance throughout my stay. The outdoor space and access to the beautiful swimming beach especially made it feel like a local experience. Highly recommend to make your stay in Menorca extra special.

We were quite shocked at how beautiful Paulo’s farm is. My wife and I were more than pleasantly surprised as how expectations were well exceeded. Paulo’s home is on the property but up the hill away from the rental. The pool and pool house are near their house but it still feels very private and comfortable. Paulo was extremely accommodating, gave great recommendations and make us feel more like his personal guests rather than just a normal rental. He checked in occasionally via message to see if we had everything we needed. It was very clear that great pride in the rental and farm was taken. Everything seemed well thought out, and we really appreciated the care the was taken in making us feel special and at him. It was by far the best rental experience we’ve had over the years.

We had a magical 5 day stay at Le Moulin Vert, would highly HIGHLY recommend! The house itself is beautifully decorated, really well stocked kitchen, spacious living area and comfy seating inside and out on the veranda. The views of the mill pond were second-to-none in the evenings, and loved exploring the extensive gardens and river swimming spots round the property. Nicki & Brendan gave great local recommendations so no extra planning needed! It was an enchanting and relaxing experience in a very special space.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser traumhaft schönen Finca! Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, stilvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Besonders hervorzuheben sind der große Pool und der Grillplatz – perfekt für entspannte Tage und gemütliche Abende. Der Vermieter war jederzeit erreichbar und hat bei Fragen oder kleineren Problemen sofort persönlich geholfen. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir können diese Finca absolut weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Très bonne communication avec les responsables, facile ,précis et réponse rapide. L’appartement est très bien situé pour faire la visite de Ronda à pied et tout les service sont proche . J’ai stationnée ma voiture au parking Ronda à côté du restaurent terraza El Castillo a 6 min à pied de l’appartement et tout c’est bien passé. Épicerie Carrefour Express rue c. Nueva à 10 min à pied Superbe terrasse ,intime avec une vue à coupé le souffle 😮‍💨😃 Pour les amateurs de café ,il y a une très bonne cafetière type nespresso Appartement avec une lingerie très propre . Merci Rocio pour ce fabuleux séjour 🤩

Nous avons réservé ce logement, suite à une urgence, l’après-midi pour le soir même. Camille a fait le nécessaire pour que la suite soit disponible dans les temps et dans un état impeccable. La suite est extrêmement bien équipée et très fonctionnelle. Les différents échanges que nous avons pu avoir avec Camille ont été très agréable. Il est sympathique et surtout très arrangeant. Un grand merci pour ce séjour.

We stayed here for two nights and loved the house. It’s situated within walking distance to the attractions within the town and also a close drive to the Douro Valley. I would highly recommend. Host was also quick to respond to any questions.

Magnifique séjour, Nous aimons les endroits calme et dépaysant, c’était juste parfait !!! Un logement incroyablement bien rénové et avec très très bon goût. Literie d’une qualité exceptionnelle. Piscine à l’eau de source fraîche mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié. La plancha et le brasero sont très utile pour les amateurs de cuisine. Notre chien à passer sa meilleur vie à la Clede. Domityle et son conjoint reste joignable et sont adorables. Pleins de spots rivière/velo/rando à proximité. L’épicerie du village a tout ce qu’il faut, et le bar restaurant à côté (Le panier fleuri) propose des plats copieux et peu onéreux dans une ambiance familiale. On reviendra ça c’est sûr et certains ! 🥹😍 Océane et Mathieu.
