This villa was great. We are a young family of 4 and it worked perfectly. It can be self-contained when you want to be close to home or its with 30 minutes drive of eveywhere you want to be in the East of the Island. I would recommend to friends and family.

If you are thinking about booking a stay at ThinkersINN, just do it. The entire place is wonderful and any words cannot describe how beautiful the scenery and surroundings are. Patricia and Peter are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Everything you could wish for in a relaxing holiday is catered for here. Amazing infinity pool, spacious outside sitting area with BBQ. Upstairs there are swing seats to enjoy the evening sunset views and even a lovely hot tub. On a lower deck area there is another chill out section with covered beds and another pool to enjoy. Our only regret was not staying longer! Cómpeta as a town is lovely with plenty of restaurants, Cortico El Paco is recommended and make sure you all visit the cocktail bar with a great roof terrace just where the taxi drops you off, amazing!

This was the most magical place for our family of five. I now want to come back and try all of Miguel’s other properties. A true highlight was taking advantage of the connections to local vendors that come with the hosts recommendations. Private dinner at the Pinta Lounge was amazing . I said to my husband at one point , “ I am so happy I could cry” - that sums up this cottage.

For anyone looking to explore Northern Mallorca, Finca Can Pontico is the perfect spot to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature, but also have quick & easy access to town. Upon arrival at the estate, my wife & I were quickly blown away by the picturesque property with a mountain range backdrop. Set amongst lemon, orange & olive trees, and towering palm & cypress trees, this beautiful stone home is an amazing place to find peace. Gotzon & his family were incredible hosts, and the hospitality shown to us was unmatched. I truly can’t say enough about how beautiful it was. Don’t miss out on this quintessential Mallorcan experience!

We had a wonderful time at Tom's! The house is lovingly decorated, super clean and totally cozy – especially the two fireplaces make it really cozy on cool days. The location is fantastically quiet with a great view, which we enjoyed every day from the terrace. It was particularly nice that we could watch the animals from the terrace – cows, sheep, cats and many birds. Communication with Tom was great, uncomplicated and very friendly. Ideal for relaxing and hiking. We will be happy to come back!

Carlos is a great host. We had a great 4-day vacation with e-bike trips through the beautiful surroundings. E-bikes is a must. A superb place to spend time at. The location of the Villa is fantastic once you reach it via the steep hills. Magnificent view and very well organised. Good service and breakfast. Totally recommended!

I’d give it 6 stars if I could - one of our best airbnb experiences. The house looks better than the pictures, it sits up in the hills in an olive grove. It’s off grid with solar panels and rainwater tank. Very quiet and peaceful, just the birds and the surrounding mountains. You can really see that the owner has given it a lot of thought and attention. It’s also very well equipped - kitchen stuff, extra towels, firewood set up in the fireplace and grill etc and the owner left us jamon, local cheeses and pastries as a welcome gift. Highly recommended

Paulo was very welcoming & communicated at every stage from booking through to our stay & departure. He was not intrusive but always available if required. The place was immaculately clean, well stocked and very comfortable. He recommended several places of interest that were all worth visiting. The Toy Museum in Seia was a trip down memory lane and the Bread Museum was very interesting. Thank you Paulo for a great stay in Seia. We would highly recommend Paulo’s accommodation.

WOW! What a stunning air bnb! Photos really don’t do it justice how stunning the setting is and the apartment itself is fantastic. In today’s age of “5 star” air bnbs with hosts shameless requesting 5 stars this is a true 6/5 stars. Delicious breakfast and that little bit out of the main Douro to be nice and peaceful - perfect locations. Delicious wines and the pool is lovely. Only problem was we couldn’t stay longer

We had a magical 5 day stay at Le Moulin Vert, would highly HIGHLY recommend! The house itself is beautifully decorated, really well stocked kitchen, spacious living area and comfy seating inside and out on the veranda. The views of the mill pond were second-to-none in the evenings, and loved exploring the extensive gardens and river swimming spots round the property. Nicki & Brendan gave great local recommendations so no extra planning needed! It was an enchanting and relaxing experience in a very special space.

This house is a real gem, an impeccable experience, from the lush nature to the quality of the olive oil offered to guests. And as if that wasn't enough, they also offered us some essential items for breakfast, in addition to a delicious bread that arrives in the morning during the stay. Mariana was very kind and helped us with everything that was requested. My boyfriend and I love everything and want to return many, many times.

We had a great stay, despite the capricious weather. Above all, we took advantage of the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing. Pol and his father were very welcoming and always very responsive to our questions. I would recommend this Airbnb without a second thought and would be happy to come back if the opportunity arises!

This is what Airbnb should be all about! A very special place, a special project, part of someone's home. In an area we would have otherwise never considered staying. Our stay was so charming, and the area so beautiful (away from the overtourism in the historic center) while still being only a 15 minute drive away from the "sites." The donkey, the fruit trees, the farms next door... it was an incredibly peaceful experience. We slept incredibly well. Internet and hot water were great. The road to the house is a bit of an adventure.. but we had no problem in a small SUV and anything but a mini car should be able to handle it if you are a brave driver. The views are well worth it ;) . Thanks a million to Agata and I cant recommend her place enough if you are planning to visit Granada.

Eduardo's villa is located in a paradise, and Eduardo is the best possible host—from the day I booked almost nine months before my stay. Eduardo gave me videos to find the chalet, and he showed me the entire apartment in the chalet, which he built in Gautegiz Arteaga himself for his family. The apartment is a dream, with very high ceilings, a large kitchen and full of all the necessary dishes and cutlery, two bedrooms upstairs with very comfortable beds, and two full bathrooms upstairs and another small one downstairs. The nearby region has activities for everyone: beaches for surfers, roads for cyclists, trails for hikers, Urdaibai reserve for bird watchers, and the area in general for families or individuals who want time in tranquility and nature. Or for an author writing a book. A few nights is not enough; this paradise and Eduardo's joy will captivate your heart and soul, and you will want to stay a long time.

We had a lovely time in a homely space. We felt relaxed upon arrival as Laia told us to treat the space like home. The outdoor space was beautiful and it was a private space. Laia and her family were very welcoming and gave us loads of recommendations. Would stay again in a heart beat 💓

I cannot describe how beautiful Marie's Château is, you have to see it for yourself, the photos do not do it justice. It was a privilege to be able to stay. Marie was the perfect host, she was great at communicating and was quick to reply to any queries we had. The Château is sat in very private grounds and of a morning all you can hear is birdsong and the odd chime of the church bells. I would highly recommend staying at Château Loupiac. We will be visiting again. Many thanks Marie!

We had a wonderful stay at the Casita, the place instantly relaxes you. Both Raymond and Rebecca were lovely and made us feel right at home. The views and surrounding nature are spectacular and it's wonderful to be able to use the pool, BBQ and hammocks during the stay. The property itself has that great combo of a lovely rustic charm but modern amenities, plenty of hot water, AC, dishwasher etc.

Arrived in a 9-person minibus, all retired and not necessarily good walkers, the place immediately filled us with both the services and the welcome of Kattalin's parents, unfailing simplicity, a kindness rare these days, a breathtaking landscape and view. On the last day, we allowed ourselves to grill with local products, on a sunny terrace, what more could you ask for. I think I'll keep this address in a corner of my mind because in half an hour, you're in Spain, caves and chasms nearby, welcoming restaurants and the sea 3/4 hours away. Thanks to Kattalin and her parents and their grandson who I know will be a farmer like we'd like to see. Thank you

What an incredible stay we had! Francisco and family were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. As others have said, he even brought us fresh bread in the morning, which we combined with local cheese, jam, and a nice Nespresso coffee. All very good but really it was the breakfast setting that made it amazing. Essentially you’re sitting out on a terrace in the sky overlooking the vineyards and the Vale de Mendiz. Stunning! Everywhere you go is a picture taking. The colours in the valley view are constantly changing with the light. Francisco also made recommendations which were very enjoyable outings, e.g. beautiful Casa de Mateus (we had lunch at Bistro Palcio just outside the main gate, try it), winery Quinta de São Luiz (Francisco’s son João recommendation), Pinhão for Douro river boat tour (the drive there along the valley is incredible). Must not forget the family’s happy-go-lucky long haired dachshund Pappy. What a cutie! Merci beaucoup Francisco! Gary & Suzie

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home! It’s spacious, stylish, and absolutely perfect for a large group. The layout is ideal with bedrooms upstairs and downstairs feels like a dedicated hosting space, perfect for socialising, gathering, a nice big hot tub!!!! The views are truly spectacular we enjoyed barbecuing while overlooking the vineyards, which felt like something out of a dream. It’s even more stunning in real life than in the photos (which is saying a lot!). The hostess was absolutely lovely so friendly and helpful. She responded promptly to every request and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. I genuinely can’t fault this place. If I could, I’d return every weekend! It’s ideal for groups of friends, families. The house is incredibly well-suited for the Douro Valley and ticks every box. Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful stay! Would 101% recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Maria’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, Maria was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the fantastic wine tour and tasting that she hosted—such a special and memorable experience. The Airbnb itself is beautifully spacious, tastefully decorated, and offers a stunning vista that made our mornings and evenings feel extra special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
