Recommended to see in the nearby area: Old ruins from World War II. Rich island kingdom where you can walk all the way to the lighthouse. Gulatingsparken, 20 minutes by car. Bicycle paths. In the winter season you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky. The ferry goes across the fjord, and to Solund. (free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, there is no shop in Rutledal. Welcome :)

The cabin is designed by the artist and owner of the cabin. It is located on a beautiful cultural pasture with panoramic views over Bøfjorden, Sognefjorden and the mountains. Herb garden, flower meadow and a small lawn create an idyllic atmosphere. The cabin is located about 100 m above sea level, with hiking opportunities directly to Bø-heia nearby, as well as spectacular hiking opportunities a short drive away. The village of Leirvik has a small settlement, about 2.5 km from the cabin, with a grocery store and hotel, as well as a shipyard down by the fjord.

At Naustvika Sjøbu in Lifjorden you live with your "toes in the sea" and have the majestic sea cliff Lihesten in your back. A stay here, close to the world's longest fjord - Sognefjorden - can offer unforgettable experiences for all ages! For the children, the hunt for crabs and small fish for the aquarium is a favorite, in addition to boat trips for fishing or swimming. The area is also popular for diving, paddling and mountain hiking. With us you can rent a boat, kayak or paddle board. Your closest neighbors are nice goats.

Cabin at Korssund Guest Harbor

Cabin with floating jetty & lake view from the terrace. The terrace is 35 sqm. There is a double bed and 3 single beds divided into 2 bedrooms. The loft has 2 mattresses, ladder/stairs up to the loft. The annex sleeps 3. 30 meters to swimming in the lake from Svaberg, 3-4 min walk to Joker grocery store and a small sandy beach. You can paddle to the store with the kayak or row in the rubber boat. The area is known for having a bustling boating life in the summer. There are many marked hiking trails nearby.

You have access to multiple fishing waters nearby and also famous Sognefjorden. Fishing card is included. Exploring the mountain landscape starts right at your doorstep and you are welcome to stay for the night in another cabin at my lake on the mountain deep in the wilderness.
