Gateway to the Hill Country and Texas Wineries!

ChadRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Bradley’s place is the place to stay if you want to visit Johnson City, Blanco, and the surrounding Hill Country. We arrived late at night and the instructions were great as we found the house with no issues. Check in was a breeze. We walked in and were blown away with how clean and cozy the place is. We woke the next morning and were greeted by a beautiful property with the most amazing views out of the glass garage door. It is such a peaceful country setting, but we were in the middle of Johnson City for coffee in less than 10 minutes. The second night there was a thunderstorm and I cannot describe how beautiful the post storm sunrise was the next morning. I could go on and on about how great this place is…we will definitely be back. Finally, Bradley is a great host and his communication throughout our stay was much appreciated.

Casa de la Paz - 26-Acre Wine Country Retreat

DanielRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
If you want a quiet and quant place close to Fredericksburg, but far enough away to have peace this is that place. A 15 minute drive from at least 6 wineries, and at least 30 from the main thoroughfare, this little home away from home gives you all you could need to relax. The hosts were very responsive and even offered their home due to inclement weather that threatened power outages in the area. We will be staying again when we return to the Fredericksburg area.

Very peaceful, scenic property that was easy to find with a short drive on a dirt road. The cabin was nice and everything was great. I’d definitely visit again.

The Getaway at Do-Nothing Ranch

TammyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful comfortable home, way out in the countryside. Grateful for the fenced yard as my puppy was curious about the longhorns in the field outside our front door. Lovely quiet scenery. A perfect get away!
A cozy sleeping area is presented with a soft, textured blanket draped over a spacious bed. Two plush animal toys—a Highland cow and a Valais Blacknose sheep—are playfully positioned on the bed, with a scenic view of the hill country visible through large windows.

Modern Hill Country Cabin | Trails, Sunsets & Cows

This was such an amazing stay! You can really tell the hosts put a lot of time, effort, and love into this spot. The views are AMAZING. The home was so cozy yet modern as well! It had all the amenities you would need. We planned on exploring the town more, but we both loved the Air B&B so much that we ended up staying there most of our trip! Would highly recommend. A bonus is getting to watch the cows and sheep that they have on the site! Such a cool experience.

Amy and Michael welcomed us warmly into their home. They are amiable and easy to talk to. The property exudes peace, and the homemade breakfasts were delicious!! Such a treat! We enjoyed hiking in Pedernales State Park, local fare in Johnson City, and a wonderful dinner at The Bistro at Blanco River. Amy and Michael made us feel right at home and have so thoughtfully considered their guests needs. 5-star hospitality!!!

Hye Life - 4 bed 3 bath

NancyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Close enough to wineries and distilleries in the area without being in the middle of the crowds. The house was beautiful, lots of space, clean with very comfortable beds. Since the house is far away from the highway you don’t hear traffic or any noise. We will definitely stay again at Timothy’s place!!
