Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace, the center of Seoul. Built about 100 years ago, Dongchonjae is a traditional Hanok officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organization. Dongchonjae has been operated since October 2020 by a retired couple who opened their home. Dongchonjae is on a 380.17m² plot of land It consists of one building, and the space is divided into the main building (Anche/Main House), Sarangchae/Detached House, and Annex. Guests have exclusive use of the main house and the annex. The host lives in the detached house, and will personally assist you with necessary services such as providing breakfast. I hope you can comfortably feel the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae. The host couple lives nearby, completely separated from the space used by guests, and provides breakfast. It is a quiet and cozy resting place, each room has a bathroom, a cafe-style veranda, a 10-minute walk from Hyehwa Station, and a parking space for 2 cars. You can take a walk along the riverside path near our house and enjoy water skiing and paragliding. Public transportation is also available. It's a 10 - minute walk from Asin Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. Pick-up from Asin Station is also available.
