Huron County fishing house rentals

We’ve now stayed here twice and have loved it both times. Perfect spot for a lake weekend. The bed is comfy and the shower is amazing! Love sitting out on the deck. It’s nice to be so close to the water and other fun things without worrying about parking. Can’t wait to go back!

Danielle was a great host with a great Air BnB. She provided excellent and clear details and directions prior to our stay. The home was as described and had an abundance of extra blankets, pillows, etc for everyone to be quite comfortable. Check in/out was very efficient and very clear directions. I would highly recommend Danielle and this Air BnB!

All great things, all great things! This was one of our favorites that we stayed so far and we've been in several at this location! Also, this was the first time we fished right there on the water, and it was great fun! Ross was very responsive on a couple quirky questions, nothing impactful, all great! Would stay, again.

Amazing views, comfy beds, nice space! We saw blue herons every day! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we couldn’t take advantage of the lake for anything other than looking at it from inside, but the location on the lake was amazing.

The place was so beautiful and clean and private despite owners being nearby and readily available. We arrived on my 60th birthday and there was on the table entering the cabin a Happy 60th Birthday welcome note on the chalk/dry erase board. Made me feel special! We had quite the rather funny experience with the hot tub. Let's say I felt like I was in Willy Wonka's Bubble Room!! I never laughed so hard 🫧🫧🤣😂. Jenny was quick to respond with a fix. We didn't use the paddle boards but fished from the shore and from the dock. Caught (and released plenty of bass (I got the biggest) and hubby got a huge catfish. Actually my hairdresser said they stayed here several years ago and she caught the large catfish too!! Anyway, we were so impressed on arrival that when I went online there was an extra night available before the next renter so we booked it with a couple hours after arrival!! Although it was rainy/stormy a couple times. Many amenities we didnt use, firepit/fireplace. I give👍👍!!

Place was great, not so far away from the popular attractions but also not too close for the traffic. Beach right down the road as well as good small town restaurants. Well maintained house and comfy bed

All the other great reviews are accurate! This is a very comfortable place to stay and is exactly as described. The house is near a lot of opportunities for great birding. Bring your binoculars!

It was a great place to stay for what we needed. Perfect size for a small group. The only thing was that the lockbox was hard to get into. It took us 10+ minutes and a few YouTube videos to get into it. The bathroom is tiny tiny, but there is a large mirror in the bedroom that is good for getting ready. If you go in early summer, be aware of the mayflies. Not the host's fault at all, but a large amount made their way inside the house and gave us a scare. They are harmless, though. Overall, it was a comfortable place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay here for a few days! Close to the lake and only a couple minutes drive to get into town. The Airbnb had pretty much everything we needed.

This was my first time staying in an Airbnb and it was better than I could imagine. Deedee’s home was cozy and eclectic, my bed was so comfy, and it was super clean. Everyone had plenty of space for themselves. The roof deck was wonderful with all the birds chirping and the view of Lake Eerie. Thank you , Deedee, for being a fantastic host and letting us enjoy your lovely home!

Marcy was an amazing host. She was quick to respond and helped me figure out a solution when I mistakenly booked it a day short. The house was adorable and exactly as described. The living space was perfect for our family and the location was a dream. Will stay here again when we are back! Thank you Marcy for making our time in Huron/Sandusky so wonderful!

Lovely view right next to the lake, very spacious home and well stocked kitchen! Would definitely love to be hosted again!

Everything about the property was beautiful. Comfortable beds. Welcoming living room. Amazing dining room view! Having lakeside access was so amazing and memorable. Peaceful sunrises with a cup of coffee. The host was quick to respond and was very helpful and understanding, especially when reaching out quickly before we left town that we had left behind some items. They arranged it so we could retrieve it quickly. Would definitely stay again

Excellent place to stay! Safe neighborhood, Walmart only 5 mins away. Hannah was excellent and was very communicative through anything and everything. 10/10 would definitely stay here again!

We greatly enjoyed pur stay. We were happily surprised with the amount of children's books. The hot tub was well maintained. The decor was simple and almost minimalist but beautiful and tasteful. Carpets were very clean. There was an issue with the furnace and the owners came quickly, got a repairman out very quickly and it was all settled quite promptly. They were friendly yet not intrusive. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware. The coffee bar was a treat! The beds are quite firm which I prefer but my husband did not. My children were fascinated with the electric reclining couch and charge ports. Everything was easy to use, easy to maintain and made for a great little lazy vacation that we hoped for.

Very nice, clean, and comfortable space. We definitely utilized the fire pit the first night and made s’mores! The setting is nice and quiet because it’s not in town directly, and everything you need is only 5 minutes, if that, up the road.

5 stars. My men and i were in the area for a construction project. We found the location to be perfect and the space served our needs very well. Plenty of coffee! Coffee in the AM is a must and they had it and plenty. Soap for body and soap for laundry Perfect. beautiful quaint location in a farm setting. So many swallows flying around- Awesome. Would choose again.

It was a great place to stay, and definitely recommend for a group of friends going in the area. More spacious then the photos make it out to be which was a good plus. None of the doors had locks on the inside of the house, including the bathroom, which was my only concern.

Every year, my friends and I make a tradition of visiting Sandusky to spend time at the Kalahari, and we always prefer staying at an Airbnb so we can relax together over home-cooked meals instead of crowding into a hotel room. John’s place was absolutely perfect for our trip! The home was exactly as described—spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. John was also an outstanding host: quick to respond, helpful with directions, and even went above and beyond to help us track down a package we had shipped to the property. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again!
