⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical – A True Escape from the World This was hands-down the most peaceful place we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a different world—quiet, serene, and completely disconnected (literally—no cell service, which was honestly a huge plus). Wildlife sightings were incredible! We saw deer, elk, a fox, and even a bear while we were up on the hill nearby—amazingly, the bear was super friendly and just passing through. It was a surreal and unforgettable moment. If you’re looking for a true getaway to reset and reconnect with nature, this is the spot. It’s now my new favorite Airbnb, and I can’t wait to come back.

Amazing experience, very quiet location with beautiful surroundings! Monica was great and was extremely knowledgeable of the local areas and responsive to any questions we had.

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable & nicely furnished. The yard, hot tub, upstairs & downstairs deck/patio areas were wonderful. I loved seeing a variety of wildlife. I also liked the privacy aspect, being at the end of a long, separate driveway in a quiet area. A very peaceful & pleasant stay, with a cute little park nearby. I appreciated the host's clear instructions regarding location & check out. I will absolutely be back. Thanks so much for your hospitality and the lovely visit.

Great spot for exploring Eureka and nearby parks. Loved the 70s theme, free samples, and communing with the cats and goats. Place is well equipped and was very quiet while we were there. We didn’t get to meet the hosts, but they were great to deal with in the app. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

Great weekend stay! Had all the amenities we needed, fit description on website and the hosts communicated very well, always quick to respond. I would recommend!

Nicole’s home was absolutely beautiful! It’s exactly what we were looking for. The pictures did not do it justice. Such a beautiful farmhouse and the best thing was being able to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee and just enjoy the beauty around us. It was clean, fun, cozy and well designed inside to make you feel right at home. Another amazing thing was how the cows right in the front yard welcomed us :) Will definitely be going back!!

Kylees place was beautiful! Very secluded with beautiful views. Her horses were right out back when we arrived, almost as if they were there just to greet us! Just a little peice of advice, if at all possible, do ANY shopping before going as being secluded, it is quite a jont to any stores. But, loved it! would stay again

Where do I start?! This is literally THE best Airbnb we've ever been to. The setting was amazing, you felt isolated but only 5 minutes away from the city. Our host was absolutely amazing. kind, responsive, willing to help w/ anything The house was amazingly decorated, super quiet inside, and you felt like you were home. Don't get me started on the claw foot bathtubs on the back deck, they are to die for! Full plumbing with hot water yet completely private. The backyard could be amazing for a wedding reception, a retreat, anything! The amenities are aplenty, there was nothing that you would need to ask for. You literally felt like you were home and had everything you could need. Pauline is awesome. She met us when we arrived and she was so friendly and kind that we felt like we had known her forever We would stay here again multiple times over.. I saw that a few people left 4-star reviews. to me that is asinine, this place is a 5 plus star place 10 xs over!

We were only able to stay for one night but wished we could have stayed longer! Loved how well stocked the cabin was. Very clean and nice place. Great location. Thanks!

The Pink House exceeded our expectations. Everything was top notch from the linens and mattresses, to everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to the heated towel rack in the bathroom. But best of all was the patio area, the swing and the view of the ocean. Very peaceful, relaxing and comfortable.

Great host! Our stay was perfect! A little get away from the city. The alpacas and chickens are just adorable and entertaining. We had dinner on the deck enjoying the view for the farm. Thank you for the wine and eggs, Pam!!

This home was perfect for our larger friend group, and we immediately felt at home. The house itself felt so cozy and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay and recommend Eric’s McKinleyville home. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfortable and everything was neat and clean when we arrived. Eric was very responsive.

Master bathroom wasn't working. Everything else was perfect.

Tina’s house was huge and in a beautiful location. The majority of the state in this area is redwood forrest, however Tina’s place is in a very rural flat land farm town surrounded by fields of farm animals. Her house is a mere 10 minutes off the 101, which is 25 or so minutes to Avenue of the Giants (which we stayed here for that half-marathon) and 15 minutes to Eurkeka. We loved the remoteness of the house. There are cows on property and workers driving around the area, however that didn’t bother us at all. We initially booked this place as we expected to have another couple staying with us, however they bailed, so it was just my wife and I. The place was massive for just two of us. We didn’t really even use the second half of the house. The wood burning fireplace was nice, if not a bit difficult to figure out how to work. Central heating was perfect as it was a bit chilly in the area as well. We also LOVED the tiny town of Ferndale. It’s exactly what you hope for. Thank you!

Great stay! This place was awesome, felt big and the kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. We came to a very clean house. The views from there were amazing and the place is well located for hikes in the redwood national and state park. We found great hikes (long or short) within 10 minutes drive.

a wonderful, cozy house. complete silence. one of the two nights we saw an incredible starry sky. it was so low and most of the stars were like huge diamonds. bright and big. I have never seen such magic in any observatory. and after a while a meteor flew by. a huge orange ball with a strip of light behind it. which lasted for several seconds. the sight was incredible. we were driving from San Francisco - of course the road is not easy and in some places there is impassable road. but nature compensated for everything.
