Vacation rentals with lake access in Hudson Bend

We loved staying at this Airbnb! Bill is a great host- very friendly and responsive. The house itself is wonderful, very comfortable for a couple. Location is also great with plenty of things to do nearby (walking distance). Would definitely come back next time we’re in Austin!

Secluded house in middle of the hill country. Great views from every window and balcony, and all the amenities. Driveway a little imposing but manageable. Would definitely stay again.

House was really nice and everyone had plenty of room. View from the backyard was amazing. Short walk down to the lake and boat dock. Being able to use the kayaks and paddle boards was a huge bonus.

Michael is indeed a super host. Communication was always clear and consistent. He responded very quick to my texts, questions and gave very good recommendations of things to do or places to go in the area. House is beautiful and Michael is doing a great job updating the decor. Views are amazing and the pool was clean a a very good size, we were a family of grown ups and we had a blast playing Marco Polo. What it stand up to me were the beddings, sheets and comforter covers were so smooth, clean and felt wonderful, definitely that was a plus to get a restful night sleep after a day full of activities. We stayed 3 nights and it felt very short. Two deers came for a visit to the area where the pit is located, it was a joyful sight. Thank you Michael for accommodating so well our needs.

You can't beat this location and the beauty of this home. Even though everyone said the water levels of Lake Travis were low , we couldn't tell as there was plenty of it and lots of water craft to watch having fun on the lake. The home was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the sunsets and watching a storm move in while there. We enjoyed some of the restaurants nearby, too. We highly recommend this rental!

This home was absolutely a dream! The host was so attentive to our needs. And gave us information about what we could do locally as well! There was so much to do at the home that we didn’t even mind staying in most of our stay and just enjoying the company of my family. I would recommend to anyone to give this home a nice weekend stay or even longer! We will definitely be coming back and staying longer next time!

We enjoyed staying at the ranch. Cute and friendly critters to interact with. A great location for our needs. Clean and fully stocked with what we needed. Amberle was quick in responding to our questions and needs. We would recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay with Delta Vista, they were kind to decorate the apartment special for our honeymoon at my request. The apartment was in great condition and had all the amenities listed, we were comfortable at their place.

Such an amazing, cozy mini vacation—truly felt right at home! Mornings with coffee on the balcony were the perfect start to the day. The thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, especially the fan in the bedroom, made the stay extra comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful, and watching the deer wander by was a real treat!

We try to stay here every time we come to Austin to visit family and friends. The condo is comfortable, cute and conveniently located. Luiz and Cristina always go out of their way to make us feel welcome.

We had such a great time at Joes place. It was just as described. Great location walkable to most things on East Cesar Chavez and not far from downtown either. Joe was super helpful and we couldn’t have asked for a better host and stay. Would definitely recommend. 10/10

We had a great time over in Austin at this place, visiting for work. It afforded the team enough space to get work done and be in and out for meetings. Ubers readily available, great view of the city and had everything we needed for a great stay.

Cozy place, ideal for a near but not in Austin getaway with friends. Very clean. New fluffy towels. Peaceful surroundings, however we were there midweek and never saw any neighbors so that may be why. Loved it was pet friendly for our pup. The one bedroom has a door that goes to the fenced in back yard which was super convenient. And the back porch was perfect for morning coffee or just to unwind in the evenings.

great host, beautiful home and right next to the lake if you wanna swim, I would definitely recommend staying here especially if your wanting to visit austin.

Stone Cottage was such a peaceful retreat for us to recharge for a few days. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck and floating in the pool surrounded by nature and tons of birds. Birders- bring your binoculars! We had some gorgeous sunsets too. We didn't bring our paddle boards but it's a good spot for all levels to paddle (or kayak) just plan to bring everything down to the dock for the day so you only have to make the hike back up to the house one time- it's steep and rocky but doable. Your reward is cooling off in the pool at the end of the day.

Worked great for our overflow guest visiting us from out of town for a wedding function.

Andrea's place was exactly as described. My wife and I had a relaxing weekend here at this humble house in a great area, close to wineries, Austin, and the lakes. Would definitely come back again.

10 out of 10!! This place is beautiful, has every kitchen amenity we could think of, super comfy beds, and a welcome basket with local things to do and snacks. Cam was a great host and we hope to come back again soon!

Loved it here! This was a great find. It was a nice clean room overlooking the river and was on very pretty grounds alongside other rentable cabins. The Spicewood location right on the Pedernales and along lake travis was wonderful, truly waterside with easy access to the kayaks/canoes/paddleboards which you can rent through Travis quickly and conveniently. After sunset I had plenty of room to set up my telescope and had a great view of the moon and stars over the water. It’s right down the street from Krause and several other hillcountry gems. Great host. I’d totally come back.
