Will be installed during July The cabin has a lovely view of the lake, where you can find trout, sea trout, char and salmon. Floating dock just below the cottage, from which you can swim. Bike trail outside the cabin in the summer, ski trail (occasionally) in the winter. Excellent area for mountain hiking and hunting. Svortstranda beach is located about 800 meters further away and is popular with children. Free access to a common sauna which is also located next to the cabin.

As well as Gartland, Moe, and Rosset, or if you like skiing, the Bjørgan Ski Center is 16 minutes away!⛷️ Plenty of space for several cars, trailers and boat equipment. We have a large freezer ready for your catch. Right across the road there is plenty of fishing gear/rods to buy! This is handmade, amazing equipment by a local fisherman with many years of experience with salmon! And you can just walk over to get a coffee!

Halbostad Gård is located 10 km north of Høylandet city center. At the end of Besdalen where the beautiful Besa comes running down. Walking or skiing along the 5 km long mountain road along Besa is peace for the soul. In the surrounding areas there are plenty of opportunities for hunting, fishing and other nature experiences. Private dog yard where dogs can go in and out as they please.
