Cozy, 2 bedroom home, quiet neighborhood near MTU

This small and cozy home is perfect to work remotely or come spend a long weekend with your MTU student and possibly take in some hockey or basketball, ski meets or any of the other many college activities. (You are less than a mile from the MTU athletic facilities). Trailhead cottage is just steps away from miles of cross-country skiing, snow shoeing or even biking and hiking trails in the “no snow” months. Downtown Houghton has many neat shops, restaurants, coffee shops, even a brew pub.

Dockside Resort, on Lake Superior, has an active working marina with an on-site launch. We have sandy access to the water, a channel deep enough for diving, and docks to hang out on. Picnic area. Kayaks. 😎 The spacious vacation houses, on the big lake, are quiet. Full of rustic luxe comforts. Gorgeous views. Many good reasons to book here. Lots of fun in each season!

Keweenaw Castle: Turret/Signature Suite W/Balcony

The Turret Suite is the signature suite of the Keweenaw Castle Resort. It is the reason we call this the "Castle" and provides a tree top view of Lake Superior from it's very own "Turret". The lower ceiling, pine walls and floor, and little "Alice in Wonderland" door to the amazing bathroom and balcony make this a dreamy stay. Guests enjoy an in-room wet bar too! Keweenaw Castle: Grand/Honeymoon Suite W/Patio

The main floor Grand Suite is provides a straight facing view of the lake shore. Dubbed "The Honeymoon Suite" for it's extravagance and air of romance, key features include a copper ornamental fireplace, sitting area, 72" flat screen smart TV, and a deluxe ensuite fit for royalty (jetted tub, walk-in massage shower for two, and private toilet bidet closet). The Grand Suite is only 1 of 4 suites available. Pet App/fees for this suite located on Keweenaw Castle website. No outside guests.
