We hope to engage our guests in a customer driven experience as an alternative to hotels and Airbnbs.

Our friendly and helpful staff is always a phone call away. Our hands off approach means you have a self check in and daily/weekly housekeeping if you so desire.

The space
A stunning and spacious suite on the second floor of this historic home! It features the original hardwood flooring, that compliments the modern furniture perfectly. Lots of seating, an adorable breakfast nook, a fully stocked kitchenette, and a super comfy queen bed await your stay! There is a Smart TV as well. And don't forget to enjoy your coffee on the balcony overlooking the Idaho Capitol building! Dog friendly with prior permission. There is a pet fee per pet per stay. Please select the number of pets you will be traveling with under "Optional Extras" when booking.

Come experience one of the first Airbnbs in Boise! This beautiful 1895 Queen Ann Victorian home has been renovated to house six individual suites, each with their own unique characteristics and charm. Every suite has a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, stove, oven, toaster oven, coffee and tea pots, dishes, silverware, cookware, and a private bathroom. We provide complimentary coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and dish soap. Every suite has the option to add a high chair, and/or pack-n-play for an additional fee.

Guests have access to the entire suite, the front porch, and the back yard. The BBQ is available on a first come, first serve basis. There is also a washer and dryer in the basement that are free for guests to use before 10am and after 3pm daily.

Other things to note
Well behaved dogs are welcome on a case by case basis. If you are unable to add your pet at booking, so that we can add them to the reservation. No cats, please!

Neighborhood highlights

Boise Guest House is an 1895 Queen Anne Victorian. The structure was completely remodeled in 2007 and is wonderfully appointed with artistic touches and a modern feel. The location is in a quiet part of downtown and is surrounded by residences and a few government offices. We have seven parking spaces for our guests. It is on 5th street between Washington St and Franklin Rd.

My name is Chris Grad, and my husband Adam and I are privileged to be the new owners of the Boise Guest House!

We have lived in Boise’s North End for almost 30 years now, and the charming, historic houses here have always held a special place in our hearts - so much so that we have owned and restored more than one during our time here.

I remember the first time Adam and I saw the Boise Guest House- we were remodeling a recently purchased office (of course in a historic building) on 6th street, and we decided to walk to the food trucks nearby for lunch. I turned to him and said, "Wouldn't owning that be fun?!"

Well, the stars aligned these past few months and I just couldn’t pass up this opportunity! This definitely is a dream come true. I appreciate that Adam has the faith to believe in this grand venture. If you happen to catch me during your stay please come say hi, as I absolutely love learning about our guests!
