Ystebø Tree 118 on sletta, Radøy

SusanRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Very nice little cottage right on a river/lake. The fjord is about 850 m walking distance. There is a great large terrace right on the shore with a table and seating. The terrace also serves as a jetty. The children liked to use this to jump into the water. Bathing and swimming are therefore possible. Gunnar provided us with kayaks and a rowing boat. We didn't catch any fish in the lake, but we did in the surrounding fjords. The house is really very small for five people and being together with five people in the bedroom is also adventurous. We were lucky with the weather, it was all wonderful I recommend the house without reservation. Really great small property.

The home is a 20 minute drive from Vik, where you can get groceries and restaurants, but it's a beautiful drive so we didn't mind it at all. We sat and watched the sky change over the fjord every morning.

Idyllic cabin with a sea view

Hans-JoachimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Such a beautiful cottage, right on the water. Left and right nothing but water and nature. We have rarely seen anything so beautiful. Communication with Oystein was straightforward and easy. Since our navigation system misled us, Oystein helped us out of our predicament very quickly with patience. When we arrived, the heating was already on and it was cozy and warm. The bed was facing the window, so we had a perfect view of the fjord from there. The kitchen was very well stocked for our vacation needs. We prepared simple dishes every day. The attempt to shower with the cold fjord water worked out great, but it is certainly not for everyone. It was a great experience. Oystein has created a little paradise. It is highly recommended to visit this beautiful place and stay there for a few days or longer. We will be happy to come back. Sigrid and Achim

The place is super cozy and very tastefully decorated, we felt right at home. Spectacular view from the terrace and living area overlooking the sea ml We were particularly pleased with the additional equipment for our baby. There was nothing missing and so we could all spend relaxed days together :)

Cottage with sea view

BrunoRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I can only repeat my review of our stay in May 2023: ...it is the best vacation cottage we have discovered so far on our travels. The great location with a magnificent view, a modern, well-equipped kitchen, a great bed and very tasteful furnishings, warm and cozy and everything tiptop clean. A big compliment to Terje and thank you for his hospitality. Bruno & Hedwig

Hidden gem by the sea - close to Bergen

TimRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had really nice, quiet days at the place. The surrounding area is ideal for fishing - for which both the canoe and the boat at the accommodation were really great! Frederik was always available at short notice and gave us great tips. Only the drive should be enjoyed with caution. ;) If you really drive down to the house, you really need good tires and the safety to get back up again. We went down at the beginning (no problem), but then had really (!) big problems getting back up with an SUV without four-wheel drive. However, you can easily park a little further up, which is almost as close to the house as parking downstairs.
