We have canoes and bicycles available for rent. The cottage is located on a small recreational area with 5 cottages and space for 10 campers.

The detached cottage with underfloor heating and wood-burning stove is located on a piece of yard between the old harbour of Oldeberkoop and our farm. The lovely sunny garden with terrace, are around the cottage and give you complete privacy. In the morning you can walk to the local bakery for fresh rolls. A walk has so started in the opposite park-like Molenbosch. With the free bicycles you can explore the wooded, rural area via all kinds of routes. A place to unwind!

Log cabin in the middle of the forest

Tucked away in the greenery is the log cabin. A place with lots of privacy at the edge of the forest and with a nice view. In the log cabin you will find a double bed, a kitchen with fridge and hob, a sitting area, a dining area and a wardrobe. With good weather you can sit on the terrace of the cabin. The shower, toilet and sink are located in a separate sanitary unit about 25 meters from the log cabin and are only used by the guests of the log cabin.

Spacious and rural apartment in Hoornsterzwaag. Hoornsterzwaag is located in Friesland near Jubbega and Unter Drachten. The surroundings are rich in beautiful cycling and hiking trails. The wooded area of Beetsterzwaag or the Drents Friese Wold ( 15 km) is all within cycling distance. Your own driveway and private kitchen at your disposal. The flat is spacious and lacks nothing! Very suitable for 50 + who like to cycle!

Guesthouse "De Bisschops' Stee"

Our home is a former business property and had quite a bit of space left. Where previously the shop/office areas with customer toilet were, we realized a bedroom, living room with kitchenette (with coffee and tea facilities/fridge) and toilet/shower in autumn 2019. The shopping entrance is now a private entrance for our guest house. Ordering breakfast is possible, but this is not included in the base price as standard.

In Southeastern Friesland we invite you to stay in our new guesthouse. Many attractions like the UNESCo World-Herritage Site "Koloniën van Weldadigheid" and the national park "Drenths-Fries wold") are only minutes away. Larger places like Gorredijk and sports-capital of Friesland Heerenveen are within easy reach. Enjoy the views from the guesthouse and spot the (roe)deer and other wildlife our region has to offer!
