From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik), on the border of the provinces of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that is exactly the feeling we would like to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

In the beautiful polder Alblasserwaard (in between Rotterdam and Utrecht) in a quiet area, a single cottage by the water. Perfectly situated for hiking, cycling and for rest and relaxation. Kayaks and (motorised) boat available. Enjoy rest, freedom and rural view in our authentic, completely renovated cottage.

Water-Meadow cottage in central Holland 2A+2C+2C

The cottage is a renovated barn in the back, overlooking the meadows in the beautiful area of Schoonrewoerd. The 1 bedroom cottage is fully equiped , Kitchen, Bathroom and a 2nd toilet. It is 60 sq/m big and can host up to 4 people. Ideally 2 adults & 2 children, but 4 adults is possible (for a few days) but it might be a bit crowdy. You can enjoy your own private garden near the water, you will have easy and private access to the cottage via the right side of our farmhouse.

The old Wagenschuur on the river Lek.

This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old carriage house, of which old beams have remained visible as much as possible. The cottage is located in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental Krukhuis farm, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage has its own outdoor seating. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.

Polderview 2, beautiful location in the middle of nature.

A lovely "tiny house" in the back in our spacious garden. Walk through the little bush for a while. Enjoy the view of the polder with locks and sheep from your comfortable chair. Completely complete with nice bed, toilet and shower, small kitchen and nice seat. Completely on your own... unwind. Come and enjoy Polderview 2. Feel at home in our cozy apartment in the middle of rural Nieuwland. A beautiful view of the polder and over "de Vliet". It is a good base for cycling along the Linge or a day of fishing at one of the many fishing spots nearby. Of course, you can also just "stay at home" because the apartment has everything for a relaxing stay. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped with every modern comfort.
