We have stayed at Charlie’s place several times before and it’s always welcoming, clean, and a nice place to spend time with family. Lots to do on the mountain and great restaurants in town with kitchen amenities if you want to cook or bake. Highly recommend! Thanks for another great stay, Charlie!

We had a fantastic trip! Govy was fun, and the location of the house was wonderful. I loved the creek outside, and there was lots of fun stuff to do in the house. Allison’s suggestions were helpful and made our stay even better. I really can’t say enough good things about our stay at Allison’s place. Definitely looking forward to staying here in the future.

The Huckleberry Chalet, private Mt. Hood retreat

AlecRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely a wonderful place. Very private, thoughtful interior design, very easily could handle a large group (there were two of us and a dog, but could easily have handled 6-8). Extremely clear instructions on how to use everything, fantastic hiking recommendations in their instruction binder, and wonderful food recs as well! Absolutely will come back, whether it’s me and my partner or a large group.

A mountain chalet, best location!

What a unique place to stay, an old world chalet updated with all the ammenities. Clean and comfortable. Nick is a great host, very helpful, friendly, and responsive. We stayed for a work retreat and thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmoshpere was great for creativity. The neighborhood was very quiet.
A spacious living area is characterized by wood-paneled walls and a high ceiling. A large stone fireplace, topped by a mounted moose head, serves as a focal point. Comfortable sofas are arranged around a central coffee table, inviting relaxation amid natural light streaming through large windows.

Sandy Riverfront Mt Hood Cabin!

MeganRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Sandy Riverfront cabin was a great place to spend the week! The home is inviting and has lots of natural light. You can enjoy modern amenities while being surrounded by nature, with the Sandy River only a few steps away. I really appreciated that Kim provided amenities like coffee, olive oil, spices, etc. The home is close to the highway so it’s easily accessible and the local area has restaurants, grocery store, coffee, etc. Definitely recommend!
