Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Stay in the countryside in our 140 m² wooden house. The house has three bedrooms: two with double beds and one bedroom with two single beds, which can be combined into a double bed. There is also a sofa bed in the living room, which can be used as needed. Feel free to enjoy our large garden of 15,500 m² with many cozy nooks and a fireplace. We have 15 hens and a rooster that contribute to the rural atmosphere. The house is on one level and has a large, bright living room and a country kitchen. We live in a former cottage on the property.

Stay in the countryside on a 4-wing farm in an apartment on 2 floors. We have a cozy courtyard where all meals can be enjoyed in shelter. The apartment has its own terrace overlooking the garden. There is a large park-like garden of about 16,000 m2, where you can go for a walk, walk with dogs and the children can play. There are many cozy nooks in the garden. Families with children are very welcome. We like our guests to feel at home. NOTE that for 5 guests, one bed is on an air mattress in the living room. Possibility of longer stays.
