Cabin vacation rentals in Hjelmeland Municipality

We spent a weekend at Kjetil’s place and it was an amazing experience! The cabin is spacious (the rooms are actually bigger than how they look in the pictures), beautiful, complete with everything we needed, and not to mention, the JACUZZI which we enjoyed so much! We booked this place without any comment or reviews from others as this was a new listing back then, and we didn’t regret taking the risk. It was all worth it. Kjetil was very kind to help us with everything we needed, he was easy to communicate with, and the cabin is perfect for a big group like us — three families, with children and a 3-month baby. We’re hoping to come back here for next year’s winter season!

I was visiting for the second time and brought friends with me this time. It was a fantastic stay again. I knew what to expect bit my friends were also super happy. The house is a real jewel. The location is an absolute dream! The view from the terrace and the jacuzzi is sinply breathtaking. Exploring the water by boat or with the kayas was a very nice experience and it was crownes by some freshly caught fish as well. We will definitelly come back again :-)

The place is excellent. We love the fact that the house has a space outside for activities. Definitely a come again place for us.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in der Hütte von Leon. Er hat uns wie in der Beschreibung in Empfang genommen und alles erklärt. Der Weg zur Hütte ist simpel, allerdings braucht man das richtige Auto, um die letzten 50meter bis zur Hütte zu fahren. Hat aber alles geklappt. Die Hütte an sich ist ein Traum. Die Ausstattung, die Aussicht, die Sauna, alles sehr gemütlich. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen. Wir empfehlen die Hütte und Leon zu 100% weiter!

Een fantastisch huisje met geweldig uitzicht. We hebben erg genoten van de mooie omgeving, waar we na afloop van eenwl wandeling lekker konden ontspannen in de hot tub. Aanrader!

Huset er veldig fin og stor med boblebad og badstue. Den er utstyrt med alt en trenger. Vi hadde den ulykke med at systemet har ikke sendt inngangskode, så vi måtte vente ved ankomst men det var ikke eieren sin feil. Huset anbefales aboslutt! 😊

We had a lovely time with the family, beautifull and spacious home (even bigger then I thought from the pictures. The house has everything you need and is very clean. The area is just amazing!

Amazing location and excellent views by the sea shore. Direct access to the sea and good options to fish. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. We didn't miss anything to enjoy our stay. Very advisable to rest a few days in a quite and beautiful area.

Vi hadde en fantastisk tid! Bjarne hat uns so herzlich und familiär empfangen, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an richtig wohlgefühlt haben. Die Ruhe rund um die Unterkunft war traumhaft – und dass wir sogar tauchen 🤿 gehen und die faszinierende Unterwasserwelt erkunden durften, war ganz klar unser Highlight! Diese besondere Erfahrung hat unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Auch die lieben Aufmerksamkeiten wie frische Eier am Morgen oder sogar mal ein paar leckere Garnelen haben uns total gefreut. Dazu noch Bjarnes Empfehlungen auch für unseren weiteren Aufenthalt in Norwegen 🇳🇴 und natürlich die herzliche Hundedame Buffy – einfach alles einen Besuch wert. Tusen takk for alt!

Veldig koselig hytte i naturskjønne omgivelser. Vi følte oss hjemme umiddelbart. Hytta har gode fasiliteter og veldig god beliggenhet med gode turmuligheter. Anny er en fantastisk vert - så vennlig og varm. :) Hun var også lett tilgjengelig og svarte raskt på meldinger. Anbefales!!

Wir waren eine wunderschöne , gute Woche zu acht (vier Erwachsen, vier Kinder zwischen 9 & 13 Jahre alt) im Monat August im Fischerhaus. Wunderschöne ruhige Lage, tolle Aussicht, alles sehr authentisch. Die Räume sind zweckmäßig, aber auch mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es gibt ein paar Spiele, einen Kickertisch und das Angeln war gleich vor der Tür möglich. Wenn man außerhalb von Ombo etwas unternehmen möchte, muss man die Fährzeiten gut im Blick behalten. Kleinere, entspannte Wanderungen kann man aber auch direkt auf der Insel Ombo machen. Wir haben dabei sogar einen Elch gesichtet. Fazit: Ein altes, Stück für Stück liebevoll saniertes Haus mit viel Seele. Uns hat es gut gefallen.

Wow. what a shame that we booked only for two nights! The property is located at one of the best location we were at Norway, feels like home away from home. The house is well equipped with everything we could have imagined and more. The parking is a bit far from the apartment, but one can get close for unloading the car. The stairs for the upper floor are a bit tricky for the young kids. Nevertheless - totally worth to stay while in Norway.

We walked into this place very late at night and it was cozy, warm and beautiful. The host had kindly left supplies in the fridge for us, so we weren't trying to find a grocery store at an inconvenient time. Ingvild is one of those rare hosts who seems to have anticipated all the guests needs. There were instructions on how to use everything, there were tips for things to do in the area, and there were ample supplies of basics in the kitchen and laundry room that made things so easy for us. This was a perfect location to feel secluded, but close enough to see the popular tourist sites in the area with a short drive. We looked forward to coming back each afternoon to enjoy the view from this home. The floor to ceiling windows were amazing.

We kregen duidelijke instructies en het was leuk dat de host vrouw contact met ons opnam. Het voelde als een warm welkom. Wat een prachtige ruime woning van alle luxe en gemakken voorzien, een prachtige grote tuin en tot grote blijdschap van de kinderen een privé strandje met bootje en toen kwamen de schapen met belletjes. De vakantie stemming was compleet. We hebben heerlijk genoten en buiten gezeten, wat is deze plek aan te bevelen! De kinderen wilden niet verder mee op doorreis, ze wilden hier de rest van de vakantie blijven. Ze hebben niet veel nodig om gelukkig te zijn. Wat voelde wij ons onwijs thuis en hebben heerlijk genoten van de rust en het prachtige uitzicht ♥️

We have changed our bookings on short notice and Inger was a very flexible, friendly and pragmatic host. The house is small but very cosy. Feels like typical for Norwegian tradition. The bath is recently renovated and offers modern comfort. The house is located in a quite lovely surrounding with plenty of opportunities for hiking and outdoor activities. Stavanger as a major town can be reached by car easily via tunnel in 30 minutes. If you want to relax and recover in a quite area and impressive nature, this house is the place to choose.

Excellent séjour ! Je recommande vivement ce logement très spacieux, très lumineux et très bien équipé. Des jouets disponibles pour les enfants. L'environnement est calme et paisible. Les hôtes sont à l'écoute des besoins.

Als je houdt van prachtig uitzicht, rust en natuur, maar ook van een gezellig huis met een goed ingerichte keuken, kom hier! Wat hebben we het fijn gehad. We gaan deze plek zeker missen. En Solbjorg was snel in reageren als er iets was.

Denne hytta ved Vostervatnet i Strand har en fantastisk beliggenhet helt ned til vannet. For å komme ned til hytta måtte vi gå ca 150 meter ned en sti fra parkeringsplassen. Med en privat liten badestrand, jacuzzi og flere sitteområder i en romslig hage ble det fine dager i solen. En liten båt med påhengsmotor kunne også benyttes. Hytta var rein, ryddig og delikat innredet. Det var fint å komme til oppredde senger. Vi nøyt god utsikt fra store stuevinduer på kvelden. Espen var et veldig godt vertskap som svarte raskt på meldinger og som ønsket at vi skulle ha et fint opphold. Kan anbefales, tusen takk for lånet!

En veldig fin hytte med alt det du trenger. Du trenger bare å ta med deg noe å spise og rene klær. Ellers er alt man trenger på hytten. Vennlig vert. Kan bare anbefales.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen und 3 Generationen in Åshilds Haus und alle haben sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Ein großes geräumiges Haus mit einem wundervollen Blick aufs Wasser. Auch der Außenbereich ist liebevoll angelegt und sehr gepflegt. Wenn das Haus jetzt noch einen direkten Wasserzugang hätte...aber auch ohne wirklich ein Traumhaus in einer schönen Gegend in einem wunderschönen Land. Auch die Kommunikation mit Åshild war immer sehr gut (schnell, freundlich, hilfsbereit) Wir können die Gastgeberin und ihr Haus 100%ig empfehlen!!!
