Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. Apartment for rent with throughout a high standard. It is timely and has modern solutions with, among other things, a great kitchen with integrated appliances with ample space for storage and cooking. Nice, bright bathroom with modern bathroom decor. Bath towels and bedsheets included. The apartment has fully heated floors.

In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. Large new Villa by the sea

Stian’s airbnb was absolutely lovely! The house is modern while maintaining a cozy feel and we loved the decor and design. The view was stunning with the side of the house facing the water boasting large glass windows and balconies. There is direct access to the water and dock where we relaxed on the sunnier days. Bergen is just over 30 minutes away and we found perfect hiking within a 10 minute driving radius. Would definitely recommend!

A great house with many possibilities and close to Bergen. We had snow and were able to see the Northern Lights! Host is very friendly and we felt right at home. For us this was the second time and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic views over the water. Quiet location. The passing train even became a game for us. Is he coming from the left or from the right? If you need some rest during your vacation, definitely worth a visit. In Stanghelle, there is a nice walk to Dagsturhytta, and in Helle, you can walk to Dale along the water.

Rural, cozy and quiet right outside Bergen

I stayed for a whole month at Signe's place and wish I could have stayed longer! The flat was super cosy and peaceful, with a beautiful view of the woods and the fjord. The Spar supermarket at Ask is reachable by foot or bicycle. Kleppesto, which is 30 minutes away by bus, has even more amenities including a pharmacy and hairdresser. I cooked most meals during my stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with a fridge and dishwasher. Laundry was also easy with the washing machine and drying rack. I had a car the first week (the flat has a dedicated parking space with the best view you could ever imagine) to visit Herdla and Hardanger. When visiting Bergen, it was much more fun to take the bus and boat! When I wasn't out and about, I spent my days reading in the hammock and fishing for pollack at the nearby dock. Signe is really lovely and kind, sharing lots of insider tips and even bringing me freshly baked bread on a few mornings. Her cats Julipuss and Sølve are so sweet too. Thank you!

A Perfect Stay in a Fantastic Location! We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Anne's Airbnb. The location is unbeatable—right next to the fish market, with e-scooters readily available all around. The flat itself is incredibly spacious, offering all the amenities we could possibly need. A particularly thoughtful touch was the friendly neighbor who went out of their way to assist us. The large, airy balcony was a highlight, providing stunning views of the harbor, with ships and ferries gliding past—truly mesmerizing! Transportation was a breeze, with easy access to taxis, buses, and train connections. The flat itself was huge and extremely comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved every moment and will undoubtedly be returning. Thank you, Anne, for a super awesome stay!
